The Wisconsin government has decided to give a small rebate from the state surplus to families with qualified children.
A qualified child is a child under the age of 18 as of December 31, 2017, a US citizen and a resident of Wisconsin as of December 31, 2017.
One parent files the claim. One claimant per qualifying child. The rebate is $100 per qualifying child. There is a small window to apply. There are no late filings.

This income MAY be taxable on your 2017 Federal tax return but is not taxable for Wisconsin state income tax.
