Food Service Server/cleanup – Temporary

St. Mary’s Springs Academy seeking Food Service Server/cleanup – Temporary thru November 2018.

Requirements: Experience working with children preferred.  The ability to work in a fast paced school kitchen, ability to lift 30 lbs., and some computer experience required.
Responsibilities would include serving and cleanup.  Hours would be 3 hours, daily, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  The candidate must be a team player, willing to be flexible and work with colleagues. Previous food services experience a plus, but not required.

Practicing Catholic is preferred.

This is a temporary position that might provide the opportunity for a full school year position in the future.
Part-time: Monday-Friday of the school calendar, 15 hours.
Starts: Third week of August $9.25/hour.

Custodian - Full Time

St. Mary’s Springs Academy is hiring a full-time custodian.  This position supports the janitorial needs of the school including running equipment, sweeping, mopping, floor care, emptying trash, recycling and various facilities duties as required.  Hours are generally 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Monday – Friday with occasional weekends required.
Requirements:
Individuals must possess the following skills to be considered for employment: able to work independently, highly reliable, strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and organized.  Prior custodial experience preferred.

Annual Fund/Special Events Coordinator

St. Mary’s Springs Academy is seeking an Annual Fund/Special Events Coordinator responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the solicitation of unrestricted funds on an annual basis.

This position is responsible for managing the System’s annual fund including fundraising appeals (direct mail, digital campaigns, phone-a-thon, etc.), and ongoing cultivation and stewardship of annual fund donors. This position also manages the System’s three primary fundraising events, working closely with volunteers to meet annual fundraising goals.

Requirements: Successful candidate must be a self-starter and a strategic organizer who can also implement a variety of annual giving campaigns throughout the year.  Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, be highly adaptable, and able to demonstrate the ability to grow relationships with constituents.  Also a team player, willing to be flexible and collaborate with colleagues.

Strong computer skills which include Microsoft Office Suite as well as data management are a must.  Bachelor’s or Associate Degree required and a minimum of 1-3 years in fundraising/ development/event planning or related experience is preferred. Practicing Catholic is preferred.

Full-Time year round position

Starts: Monday, August 6, 2018.

Administrative Assistant supporting 6-12 Principal

St. Mary’s Springs Academy seeking a full time administrative assistant supporting the 6-12 Principal.

Requirements: Persons must have the ability to schedule appointments, complete data input and be familiar with office equipment. Candidate must possess excellent organizational and editing skills, be computer proficient and comfortable working with all components of Microsoft Office, be able to prioritize tasks, be flexible, and maintain confidentiality.

Positive team player and effective communications skills is a must. Practicing Catholic is preferred.

Kindergarten & 4K Aids

St. Mary’s Springs Academy seeking three full-time Instructional aides:
Two for Kindergarten and one for K4/Enrichment.
Requirements: SMSA is seeking instructional assistant who will assist the classroom teacher in all aspects of shared activities. Persons with experience in early childhood and elementary school is preferred, but not required. The successful candidate must be a team player and willing to be flexible and collaborate with colleagues.

Practicing Catholic is preferred.
Starts: August, 2018 for the 2018-2019 school year, (32-35 hours) 8 a.m.–3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
