Custodian

St. Mary’s Springs Academy is hiring a part or full-time custodian. This position supports the janitorial needs of the school including running equipment, sweeping, mopping, floor care, emptying trash and recycling, and various facilities duties as required including minor maintenance.  Hours are generally 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Monday – Friday with occasional weekends required.

 

Requirements:
Individuals must possess the following skills to be considered for employment: able to work independently, highly reliable, strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and organized. Prior custodial experience preferred.

Food Service Server/Cleanup - Part-Time

Interested in working just four hours a day in a fun, fast-paced environment? If you have a passion for food and children, it may be time to move in a new direction. St. Mary’s Springs Academy is seeking part-time assistance in the Food Service Department.

 

Requirements:

Successful candidate will be responsible for supporting efficient operation of school lunch program within a team environment. Experience working with children preferred.  Nature of work requires moderate physical effort, continuous standing, and ability to lift 30-50lb occasionally. Basic computer skills are necessary.

 

Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. – MTWRF during the school
year.  Responsibilities would include serving, point of sale and
cleanup.  Previous food services experience a plus, but not required.  This position has the potential for additional hours and professional advancement in the future.  Competitive benefits include holiday pay, personal days and partial tuition remission.

After School Child Care - Part Time

St. Mary’s Springs Academy is seeking an individual who desires an opportunity to work in a dynamic empowering environment with students in grades 4K-5 as a part-time supervisor for our before/after school care programs. Each of the three classrooms are custom to certain grade levels and activities associated with the range of the grade levels.  

 

A strong candidate is willing to work as a team member, collaborate with colleagues and complete the Safe Environment Education training. Person with experience in an elementary school and/or child care setting is preferred, but not required. Part-time (15-20 hrs.) from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. and/or 2:30 to 6:00 p.m. on scheduled school days during the academic year.

Substitute Teachers

St. Mary’s Springs Academy seeking substitute teachers at all levels to perform the instructional and classroom management process or supervise/monitor a classroom while being instructed virtually, by classroom faculty.

 

Requirements:
The successful candidate is a team player, flexible, has a passion for education and students, is comfortable with technology and collaborates with colleagues. Substitutes should be able to problem solve, make decisions, and resolve conflict in a timely and confident manner. No teaching license required for a proctor. Background check required.
