Requirements: The MS/HS Principal is responsible for creating a culture in which our students, families and our broader school community feels engaged and empowered to live our mission and demonstrate our Core Values. The Principal will serve as the academic leader focused on developing faculty and staff to continuously improve their craft and ultimately, driving student achievement. The MS/HS Principal is charged with maintaining academic operations, managing and coaching direct reports, and communicating consistently with parents/families to create a positive school climate. The MS/HS Principal is also a spiritual leader, leading by example and ensuring that our Catholic faith is at the heart of all we do.

 

Qualifications: The candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, possess excellent academic and spiritual leadership skills, be an engaging motivator, have excellent time management skills and financial management acumen, and have a proven record of creative problem-solving and ability to collaborate with all constituencies.  The candidate must have a minimum of 3 – 5 years teaching experience with at least 2 years of leadership in some capacity, as well as demonstrated student results at an exemplary level in both roles.  The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree from competitive university and State of Wisconsin school administrator license required; Master’s degree or other advanced degree preferred.

High School Counselor - Full Time

St. Mary’s Springs Academy seeking full-time High School Counselor.

 

Requirements: This position will provide support to students through the Comprehensive School Counseling model with a goal of preparing students for post-graduation careers, vocational training, and/or higher education. This position will also provide school counseling to students and collaboration with parents; participate in case conferences involving cooperation with other pupil personnel workers, school personnel, and community agencies; makes referrals to public or private agencies with appropriate follow-up; serves as a liaison between school, family, and community resources; serves as a source of information regarding community resources; maintains appropriate school records and provides written reports and communications; evaluates student records; and performs other duties as assigned.

 

Additional School Counselor duties include ACT and other school testing, IEP/BAP planning, Scheduling and Strengths based coaching.

The successful candidate is a team player, flexible and collaborate with colleagues. One year teaching experience and practicing Catholic is preferred.

Qualifications: Degree in School Counseling, Master’s degree preferred.

Starts:  Immediate (2019-2020 school year)

Library/Media Specialist - Part Time

Requirements: The Library/Media Specialist will provide guidance, support, coordination and integration of paper and technology resources to support curricular initiatives. Additionally, the Library/Media Specialist must keep abreast of new and emerging books, resources, technology and potential educational applications in a K-12 setting.

 

Qualifications: Individual should possess an educational background in library and technology resource management knowledge, and must have experience integrating resources in an educational setting while supporting staff, students and parents through the use of the library/media center. The candidate must also be collaborative, flexible, and thrive in a team environment. A love of books and children are critical.

High School Science Teacher - Full Time

St. Mary’s Springs Academy seeking full-time Science teacher for grades 9-12 for the 2019 – 2020 school year.

 

Requirements: Person must be certified or in the process of becoming a licensed instructor for HS Science in the state of Wisconsin. The successful candidate is a team player, flexible, collaborates with colleagues, sets high standards for self and students, successfully integrates technology into daily teaching practices and differentiates instruction and assessment. This person must have excellent communication skills and the knowledge and skills necessary to enable each student to master Science as outlined in the next generation standards. Three years teaching experience in natural sciences and practicing Catholic is preferred.

 

Qualifications: Candidate must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with a major (or minor) in science or related program. Master’s degree in science is a plus.

 

Starts:August 22, 2019 (2019-2020 school year)

Food Service Server/cleanup

St. Mary’s Springs Academy seeking Food Service Server/cleanup – starting the 3rd week of August.

 

Requirements: Experience working with children preferred. The ability to work in a fast paced school kitchen, ability to lift 30lbs., and some computer experience required.  Responsibilities would include serving, point of sale and cleanup. Hours would be from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The candidate must be a team player, willing to be flexible and work with colleagues. Previous food service experience a plus, but not required.  This position has the potential for additional hours in the future.  Practicing Catholic is preferred.

 

Part-time: Monday-Friday of the school calendar, 15 hours.
Starts: 3rd week of August, $9.25/hour.
