Part-Time Facilities Maintenance Technician

Position Title/Description: 

St. Mary’s Springs Academy is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Part-Time Facilities Maintenance Technician to help maintain our beautiful school campus. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of hands-on projects and takes pride in keeping facilities safe, clean, and well maintained.

 

Schedule

  • 20–24 hours per week
  • Flexible daytime schedule
  • Year-round position

Responsibilities

  • Perform general building maintenance and repairs
  • Complete light construction and remodeling projects
  • Perform basic plumbing repairs and maintenance
  • Repair doors, windows, locks, furniture, and fixtures
  • Patch and paint walls and other surfaces
  • Assemble and install equipment and furnishings
  • Assist with seasonal campus maintenance
  • Identify maintenance needs and complete projects independently
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications

  • Experience in general maintenance, construction, or a skilled trade preferred
  • Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, and building repairs
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
  • Ability to climb a ladder
  • Dependable, organized, and able to work independently
  • Valid driver’s license required

After School Child Care - Part Time

St. Mary’s Springs Academy is seeking an individual who desires an opportunity to work in a dynamic empowering environment with students in grades 4K-5 as a part-time supervisor for our before/after school care programs. Each of the three classrooms are custom to certain grade levels and activities associated with the range of the grade levels.  

 

A strong candidate is willing to work as a team member, collaborate with colleagues and complete the Safe Environment Education training. Person with experience in an elementary school and/or child care setting is preferred, but not required. Part-time (15-20 hrs.) from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. and/or 2:30 to 6:00 p.m. on scheduled school days during the academic year.
