Dear Parents and Guardians,
Last week we attended our first all system mass for the school year. Fr. Justin did a great job of leading a mass with a great message regarding the sacred heart of Jesus. It was beautiful to hear the HS Liturgy choir sing backed up by the K-12 students. The engagement was amazing to be around the body of Christ alive in communion at mass. Parents are able to attend all system masses.
Thank you for being timely during the morning drop off. Attendance and tardies have not been an issue in the past few school days. The traffic flow in the South Hall parking lot is looking good as we work together keeping patience and safety as a top priority.
It’s very important to pull all the way forward in our Hug and Go lane to the furthest west space to keep traffic moving. I noticed there is lots of room for us on the west side of our Hug and Go Lane that feels lonely. Using the west side of the Hug and Go lane as you drop off will support a positive flow in the drop off process. The use of the west side of the Hug and Go lane will reduce stoppage time because of the traffic being through the crosswalk area before students are let out of cars. I understand students may have a little longer walk than the east side drop area. They can do it! It’s safe because they follow the sidewalk around the parking lot to the north to get to the playground area or to the front doors.
Thank you for understanding and supporting the process.
God Bless,
Steven Kelnhofer
