Here we are at the end of our academic journey for the 2018/19 school year. It was a blessing to see your child(ren) grow!

Take the next few months to explore, relax and read. I heard I might get slimed next school year if enough minutes are accumulated!

I’m blessed and humbled to be a partner with you in the journey of educating our students at SMSA!

After School Care

Friday, May 31, 2019 school will be closing at 3:20 p.m.  After school care will not be open on the last day of school.

Our Summer Reading Program is off to a great start! So far we have already accumulated over 36,000 minutes, with a little under 100,000 minutes to go! Currently our 3rd and 4th graders are battling it out for the top class. Keep on reading this summer Junior Ledgers! Updates will be posted throughout the summer months via our school’s Facebook page.

Swing Fore Springs & Summer Fling is fast approaching, Friday, July 26, 2019 and we are looking for your help. Parent, Grandparent and Guardian support is critical to the success of our events and we value your time and talents.

We would love for each grade to be represented at this year’s event as a hole sponsor. Hole sponsorship is $300. We would love to say hole 1 is sponsored by: “The SMSA Class of 2030”, and so on. If you are interested in participating, please send in a donation amount in a sealed envelope to Kristin Zitlow with your child’s grade level on the envelope. If the class does not reach the full $300 we will use the money to purchase a silent auction package that will be sponsored by the class!

If you are looking to get more involved we are also looking for volunteers to join our committee and to volunteer for the event.
