The last day of school, Friday, May 31, 2019 will be a full day.

If your son/daughter has a prescription medication or over the counter medication at school located in the North Hall (middle/high) or South Hall office (elementary), a parent or guardian is responsible for signing it out at the end of the year.

Please stop in at the office to pick it up on or before the last day of school, Friday, May 31, 2019. Medications are not able to be stored in the offices over the summer months.

Any medication left after the last day of school will be taken to the Drug Drop box at Agnesian.

Join us all summer every Monday at 2:30 p.m. to pray the rosary for our school community! Summer location is Holy Family Church, near the tabernacle.

With the end of the school year in sight, we are teeing up for Swing Fore Springs & Summer Fling. This year’s event will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019. Choose from one of two great golf courses in town to play at, Whispering Springs Golf Club or Rolling Meadows Golf Course. Dinner this year will be held at Whispering Springs Golf Club where you will enjoy a Mexican Fiesta buffet!

This fun event features 18 holes of golf, on course contests, silent auction, Grab N Go board, raffle drawing for a trip for 2 to The Players Championship, ball drop, DJ and much more!

How fast the school year goes! The Grandparents Club is getting ready for the SMSA Uniform Exchange! This exchange gives SMSA families the opportunity to exchange gently used uniforms that comply with the SMSA dress code.

Uniforms can be dropped off at the North or South Hall Offices during school hours from May 23rd through May 31st.  Uniforms can also be dropped off at the Scrip Office during Scrip hours from June 4th through June 28th and again on July 29th through August 1st.  Please note the Scrip Office is closed on Fridays during summer.

Please help by making sure all uniforms are clean and free of holes, stains and torn seams.  SMSA T-shirts, sweatshirts, Phy-ed uniforms, etc., can be donated but NOT exchanged.

We are excited for the upcoming exchange. Please be aware that inventory changes from year to year and the availability of sizes and items may vary. If the times of the exchange are challenging for your family, perhaps a “surrogate shopper” would be able to fill in for you. The SMSA Uniform Exchange hopes to help as many families as possible.

Novena to the Holy Spirit, the “Original Novena,” is nine days of prayer, from the day after Ascension Thursday to the day before Pentecost Sunday.

Consider joining us as we lift up our Administration and Leadership Teams, Board of Directors, and new Chaplain (Fr. John LoCoco) in prayer.  We start this Friday, May 31st, and conclude Saturday, June 8th.

The Scrip year ends Friday, May 31, 2019. You must have a signed Scrip Agreement on file by Friday, May 31st so your Scrip credits can be accurately applied to your account.

Please note, the Scrip office will be closed Monday, June 3, 2019 for end of year processing. Summer hours will begin on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 and are as follows:

Mondays and Wednesdays: 8:00 a.m. – Noon

Tuesdays and Thursdays: Noon – 4:00 p.m.

Fridays: CLOSED

These hours remain in effect through Friday, August 16, 2019.
