Lent Formation - Last Session April 13th

Join us this Lent as we Draw Closer to Christ with a six week video series led by clergy team members.  Three sessions are on Forgiveness and the last three focus on the Eucharist.

 

The last session is this Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Hall.  Check the bulletin and website for more details about session topic.

Luke Spehar: Live in Concert - April 15th

Luke Spehar, a nationally known Catholic singer/songwriter and recording artist, will be performing a concert during Lent on the evening of Monday, April 15, 2019 from 6:30 – 7:45 p.m. at Holy Family Church.  Come join us for this evening of beautiful music!

 

Luke’s heartfelt lyrics are interspersed with virtuoso level guitar work that puts us in mind of the rich tradition of singer/songwriters such as Jim Croce, Paul Simon and Dave Matthews.

Sports Night - 3rd Tuesday of the Month

Holy Family Parish will be hosting a sports night on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.  These events will be held at the Sacred Heart School (200 S Peters Ave) gym from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

This powerful dramatization illustrates Jesus’ journey to Calvary in 14 living stations or scenes.

Rocket Saturday - April 13th

This is Rocket Science!  Learn how Woodworth’s Rocket Club designs a payload, builds a 6-foot rocket and competes in a high power launch. Students will have a “blast” as they build, paint and launch an Estes Alpha Rocket. Supplies are included in cost.

Easter Family Fun Night - April 19th

Start the weekend off right at the FdL Aquatic Center with some egg-citing family fun. Bring your eggs to decorate and join us for a family swim night filled with contests, door prizes and more! The evening will conclude with “The Magic of Laughter” comedy magic show featuring Jeff McMullen at 6:45 p.m. Children 2 and under are free!

Girls “Try Lacrosse” Clinic - April 27th

Calling all girls!  Lacrosse is a fast paced, great exercise and one of the fastest growing sports in Wisconsin.  We want you to be a part of it!

 

Join the Marian University Women’s Lacrosse team as you learn the basics of how to throw, catch, cradle, shoot and more.  All necessary equipment is provided and participants will be divided into age appropriate groups.

 

All ages and skill levels are welcome as we introduce the basics of the game to the Fond du Lac community.

Beginner Pickleball

A fast growing sport that can be enjoyed by all ages, pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. The FdL Rec Dept. is teaming with Fondy Pickleballers Pickleball Club to teach lessons and give participants a chance to see just what pickleball is all about. Equipment will be provided.

Learn the Ropes

Our very own Cardinal Skippers and past jumpers will teach participants some start-up skips, jumps and turns to get them on their way to a fun new experience! Pre-registration is required. Every participant will get a t-shirt and should bring a water bottle with them to the clinic. Jump ropes will be available for purchase. 31st Annual Baseball Clinic

Fond du Lac Cardinal Baseball and the FdL Recreation Department will sponsor their 31st annual baseball clinic. This clinic is designed for parents, coaches and players to become better prepared for the upcoming baseball season and to learn baseball fundamentals. Proper baseball techniques will be taught with live participation in drills by the players – so bring your bat, glove, batting gloves and tennis shoes.
