Message from the P3 - Grade 5 Principal, Steven Kelnhofer

Dear Parents,

Thank you for all your help dressing up your children for homecoming week.  It was a week filled with excitement and energy.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Conferences will be held October 17th and 18th.  Please look for communication October 1st on how to schedule an appointment using Skyward.

No School October 4th & 5th

There will be no school Thursday, October 4th and Friday October 5th.  After School Care will not be open because we are not in session for school.   The Business and Scrip Offices will be open during normal business hours.

MAPS Testing

Teachers are preparing to have students in grades 2-8 take the MAPS testing in the areas of reading and math.  We are having students take these two tests to define a clearer picture of them as learners.  Students will be taking these forty minutes assessments three times throughout the year.  Our first testing dates will begin in October.

Classroom Halloween Parties

Our classroom Halloween party will be held Friday, October 26th, in the afternoon.  Look for more communication from your classroom teacher or room parent lead in the near future.   If you are interested in helping, look no further than our website under Volunteer Opportunities.

God Bless,
Steven Kelnhofer
