From the Desk of Steve Kelnhofer - Elementary School Principal

Dear SMSA Families,
As we approach the end of another wonderful school year, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your support and partnership. Your involvement in our school community makes a significant difference in the lives of our students.

We are thrilled to announce our newest members of the St. Mary’s Springs Academy chapter of the National Junior Honor Society!

Congratulations to the following students for embodying the five pillars: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Character, and Citizenship: Elijah Anderson, Rowan Hart, Ashley Herrera, Seamus Hill, Stella Kant, Audrey Wilkum, Brooklyn Zangle, Eleanor Baseley, Drake Dreher, Farah Geiger, Natalia Karewicz, Lily Mae LaLuzerne, Annaliese Nadler, William Nash, Trinity O’Brien, Charles Rathke, Alianna Rozek and Rudy Vanden Avond.

On May 28th, we will celebrate our school year with a Kindergarten through 8th grade Mass at Holy Family. Following the Mass, we will honor our 8th graders with a graduation ceremony. This special event will include: Recognition of 8th grade student leaders, transitioning the Ledgers Way core values to our current 7th graders, a Ledger Way Candle Ceremony, speeches from a few of our 8th graders and the presentation of diplomas. This will also be the last day of school for our 8th grade class.

We are excited to host Field Days for grades Kindergarten through 7th on May 29th and 30th. Please watch for more information from the homeroom teachers.

May 30th will be our last full day of school. If you plan to utilize After School Care on this day, please sign up in advance so we can adequately prepare for staffing. Thank you for your cooperation!

Thank you for being a vital part of our school community! We look forward to continued collaboration and success in the future.

God Bless,
Steven Kelnhofer
Elementary Principal, SMSA
