Message from the Principal

Greetings Parents,
This week we have a special message from the SMSA senior class to share with you.

“Hello Parents and Guardians!
We are the SMSA high school graduating class of 2018 and we are hosting the field day for grades kindergarten through third grade.  Each year, the senior class goes on a trip as a final experience together before going our separate ways.  This year, we realized we were short in our funds and needed to do some student-led fundraising in order to have a senior trip. After some brainstorming, we thought holding the kindergarten through third grade carnival, Wednesday, May 30th, would be a fantastic way to interact with the younger kids on campus and embrace the community Springs is so passionate about.  We are thrilled to be engaging with the young children and have a variety of yard games and carnival activities prepared.  There is no required entrance fee or cost for any of the games, but we are asking for donations by May 23rd so we can enjoy our final adventure together as the graduating class of 2018.

Your generosity is appreciated.
Thank you!
Sincerely,
The Class of 2018″

The fourth and fifth graders will be having their field day on May 31st in the afternoon.

Please look for more communication from the homeroom teachers regarding their day of activity.
God Bless,
Steven Kelnhofer

Spring is in the air in 4K!  The 4K students learned all about plants from Master Gardeners Cindy, Jo and Tom!

Students had an opportunity to learn about how bees help plants and how plants grow.  They planted seeds and flowers to help make the earth more healthy and beautiful!

Thank you to our Master Gardeners for taking the time to help the 4K students bloom!
