Message from the Principal

Dear Parents,

As we entered into the second week of Lent, we focused our teachings on serving as Jesus has served. He constantly reminds us, that the good we have within us, is a gift from God.  What we can do with this gift for others is our gift back to Him.

This week we strengthened our minds by reading, and enjoyed the ability to share, by experiencing Dr. Seuss week. I love observing the positive energy the students are sharing as they go through our week of fun.

As a reminder this Friday, March 2nd, is an early release day. School will let out at 11:30. After school care is available for the first thirty students who are signed up.

Next week, on March 7th, our 3rd – 5th graders will have the opportunity to receive the sacrament of reconciliation.

IMPORTANT HEALTH UPDATE: The Fond du Lac community and many surrounding school districts have seen in increase in illnesses; including influenza. We are doing everything we can at SMSA to keep the illnesses out of the building, but we need your help. If your child is sick, please keep them at home.

God Bless,
Steven Kelnhofer
