Message from the Principal

Season Greetings Parents,

Thank you to all the volunteers that helped organize and run Ledger Express. It was an awesome opportunity to gather together as a school family and have fun together! It was wonderful to see all the smiles and joy the afternoon brought to children and parents as they punched their tickets at all the stations.

Concerts and programs will be coming down the December track starting next week with our 5th grade and middle school shortened combination concert on December 12th from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm in Baker Gym. The full versions of those concerts will be held as follows: the 5th grade Band Concert on December 12th from 6:30 – 8:00 in Baker Gym, and 5th Grade Choir Concert December 13th 6:30 – 8:00 in Baker Gym. Our Early Childhood Christmas Program is December 19th from 8:15 am – 8:50 am in Baker Gym. The K – 4th grade Christmas Program will be performed on December 19th at 12:45 pm and 6:30 pm in the Hutter gym.

As winter weather is quickly approaching, remember to help your child/children dress for the weather. On the occasions that we have an early release due to weather conditions, SMSA will be closing for all students with after school care not being an option. In the case of a delayed start, before school care will not be an option, but students may arrive the typical 20 minutes before school starts and go to the holding zone on the playground.

God Bless,

Mr. Kelnhofer
