6-12 Associate Principal/Athletic Director

Seeking an innovative, forward –thinking Associate Principal/Athletic Director, responsible for the day-to-day operations  of middle/high school (grades 6 -12) academics and athletics. The Associate Principal/Athletic Director will work with the System Principal, President, and staff and faculty to advance a contemporary education vision based on Catholic values, academic excellence, professional development, and continuous improvement.  The primary task of the AP/AD is to serve as the educational leader for grades 6-12, specifically in regards to classroom management, student behavior, and student activities. The AP/AD is charged with maintaining building operations, managing athletic programs, leading and coaching faculty/staff/coaches, and communicating effectively with stakeholders (parents/coaches/students) to create a positive school climate.  The AP/AD is also a spiritual leader, both leading by example and ensuring that our Catholic faith is at the heart of all we do.

SMSA is preparing to open a new $25 million consolidated PreK-12 campus in Fall 2016. If you are a practicing Catholic, with a Wisconsin Principal Licensure (preferably with a Masters Degree in Education Administration), experience with athletics management, and possess the drive and enthusiasm to provide leadership for the advancement of Catholic education in the greater Fond du Lac area, apply today. School Counselor (P3-2nd)

St. Mary’s Springs Academy seeking full time School Counselor for Early Childhood and Elementary grades for the 16-17 school year.

Requirements:

Master’s Degree and a valid WI teaching license for School Counselor required. The successful candidate understands and has experience in current practices and methodologies in the Wisconsin Comprehensive Counseling Model as well as: posses a willingness to be flexible and collaborate with colleagues, is familiar with Love and Logic and Conscience Discipline, and differentiates instruction and assessment. Practicing Catholic is preferred.

Persons must be certified in General Music and Chorus. The candidate should also highlight theatre experience and collaboration with upper/lower level music programs in his/her application materials. Theology Teacher - High School

Qualifications:

Candidate must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with a major (or minor) in theology or related program.

History Teacher - High School

Qualifications:

The candidate must be certified to teach History for grades 9-12. Teaching experience in these areas is preferred, but not required.  The successful candidate understands and has experience in current practices and methodologies in education as well as: is a team player, willing to be flexible and collaborate with colleagues, uses technology in the classroom and differentiates in classroom instruction and assessments. Practicing Catholic is preferred.

Art Teacher - High School

Requirements:

Persons must be certified as a licensed art instructor in the State of Wisconsin for grades 9-12. The successful candidate understands and has experience in current practices and methodologies in Secondary Education. The candidate must also have a desire to work collaboratively with colleagues, be willing to be flexible and inclusive, successfully integrate technology into teaching practices, and differentiate instruction and assessment. The candidate also must be willing to help create an environment where students are encouraged to explore their creative side and be willing to include Catholic teachings and practices when appropriate.

Substitute Teacher
