6-12 Athletic Director (part - time)

The 6-12 Athletic Director (AD) provides administrative leadership in planning, implementation, coordination, supervision, and evaluation of interscholastic athletic programs for both middle and high school. The AD promotes extracurricular athletic activities that foster skill development, understanding of sports, and appreciation for a variety of athletic activities and programs, teaming, and sportsmanship for students and adults. Essential duties and responsibilities include: scheduling, management of facilities, budget management, oversight and evaluation of coaching staff, oversight of student athletes, etc. Click for complete position description. This part time (20-hours per week) position begins July 1, 2016.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution in education or business administration required. Master’s degree in athletic administration or equivalent athletic administration experience preferred. Candidate must be an exceptional communicator, have an attention to detail, understand the complexity of working with student athletes/coaches, etc.

SMSA is preparing to open a new $25 million consolidated PreK-12 campus in Fall 2016. Requires a Bachelor’s dregree from an accredited four-year institution in education or business administration required. Master’s degree in athletic administration or equivelant athletic administration experience preferred. Candidate must be an exceptional communicator, have an attention to detail, understand the complexity of working with student athletes, and possess the drive and enthusiasm to provide leadership for the advancement of Catholic education in the greater Fond du Lac area. 6-12 Director of student life

Working with the System Principal, the 6-12 Director of Student Life is responsible for the day to day management of grades 6-12  student population. Paramount to this role is the safety and security of the students, faculty and staff. Primary responsibilities for this position include: refines and administers the 6-12 system of behavior accountability and positive behavior reinforcement (dean), updates and maintains student handbook, facilitates dialogued between faculty/students/parents,  assist in managing modified schedule days and other extracurricular programs, etc. Click for complete position description.

Three to five years of experience in a middle school/high school setting as a teacher, counselor, or administrator (preferably focused on student life) is preferred. Experience with Love & Logic, restorative justice and/or conscience discipline practices a plus. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. A focus on teamwork, collaborative leadership, strategic thinking and workflow is essential, as is the ability to effectively manage time and multiple tasks.

Custodian Position (2)

St Mary’s Springs Academy is hiring two full time janitorial positions.

Requirements:

Individuals  must possess the following skills to be considered for employment: able to work independently, highly reliable, strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and organized.  Prior custodial experience preferred.

Position Title/Description:

Hired employees will train on first shift (7a-3p) then transition into a split shift (1pm to 9pm) during school year. These positions support the janitorial needs of the school including running equipment, sweeping, mopping, floor care, emptying trash and recycling, and various facilities duties as required.
 

Teacher - Music/Chorus 6-12

Requirements:

Persons must be certified in General Music and Chorus. The candidate should also highlight theatre experience and collaboration with upper/lower level music programs in his/her application materials. The successful candidate understands and has experience in current practices and methodologies in music as well as: is a team player, willing to be flexible and collaborate with colleagues, uses technology in the classroom and differentiates in classroom instruction and assessments.  Practicing Catholic is preferred.

Requirements:

Persons must be certified as a licensed instructor for middle school grades in the State of Wisconsin. The successful candidate understands and has experience in current practices and methodologies for middle school teaching. The candidate must also be a team player, be willing to be flexible and collaborate with colleagues, successfully integrate technology into daily teaching practices, and differentiate instruction and assessment. Training in Writer’s and/or Reader’s workshop and/or Math Expressions are preferred. Practicing Catholic is preferred.

Qualifications:
