Part Time Production Assistant

St. Mary’s Springs Academy is seeking a part time production assistant.  Are you ready to take your food service career to a higher level?  If you have a passion for food and children, it may be time to move your career in a new direction.

 

Requirements:
Successful candidate will be responsible for supporting efficient operation of school lunch program within a team environment.  Tasks would include assisting Kitchen Manager with food preparation, a la carte offerings and serving of food; help maintain a clean work environment; and other duties as assigned in regards to food services.  Nature of work requires moderate physical effort, continuous standing, ability to occasionally lift 30-50 lbs. and use commercial food service equipment.  Basic computer skills are necessary.

 

Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Previous restaurant food service experience is preferred, but not required.  This position has the potential for additional hours and professional advancement in the future. Ongoing educational opportunities to further knowledge of the National School Lunch Program are available.

Full Time Music Teacher K-3 Grades for the 2024-2025 Academic Year

Requirements:
SMSA is seeking a teacher certified as a licensed instructor.  Licensure in General Music in the State of Wisconsin is preferred.

A successful candidate understands and has experience in current practices and methodologies in Elementary Education. The candidate must also have a desire to work collaboratively with colleagues, be willing to be flexible and inclusive, successfully integrate technology into teaching practices, and differentiate instruction and assessment. The candidate also must be willing to help create an environment where students are encouraged to explore their creative side and be willing to include Catholic teachings and practices when appropriate.

 

Responsibilities:

Teaching & Learning – Candidate must understand the Wisconsin Academic Standards for Fine Arts; establish clear learning targets for weekly lesson plans for grades Kindergarten through grade 3; build rigorous aligned assessments and consistently implement instructional best practices; and facilitate instruction leading to successful students to grow into our music program.  We believe music gives students the opportunity to be creative, develop discipline, challenge their talents, and have an appreciation of the music itself and its composers.

Instructional Building Aide - Grades P3-8 (Full-Time)

St. Mary’s Springs Academy seeking full time, Grades 1-8, Instructional Building Aide/Internal Substitute Teacher.

 

Requirements:

SMSA is seeking an instructional classroom building aide to join a team of  instructional aides who support student instruction and help supervise student  recesses and the lunchroom. Under the direction of the school principal and/or  classroom teachers, the instructional aid will support SMSA in its mission and  vision. Experience working with elementary aged children is preferred, but not  required. The successful candidate must be a team player and willing to be flexible  and collaborate with colleagues.

The instructional aide assists teachers and school staff with instruction, supervision,  and clerical activities to provide a well- organized, functioning classroom  environment in which students can take full advantage of the instructional  programing. This position works mainly with students and teachers in grades 1  through 8 and includes a focus on providing ELA and math support.  

 

This position may support SMSA as a building substitute teacher as necessary. The  substitute teacher may replace a regular teacher of support extended care on a  day-to-day basis at SMSA. Willingness to obtain a substitute license is preferred.

After School Child Care - Part Time

St. Mary’s Springs Academy is seeking an individual who desires an opportunity to work in a dynamic empowering environment with students in grades 4K-5 as a part-time supervisor for our before/after school care programs. Each of the three classrooms are custom to certain grade levels and activities associated with the range of the grade levels.  

 

A strong candidate is willing to work as a team member, collaborate with colleagues and complete the Safe Environment Education training. Person with experience in an elementary school and/or child care setting is preferred, but not required. Part-time (15-20 hrs.) from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. and/or 2:30 to 6:00 p.m. on scheduled school days during the academic year.

Substitute Teachers

St. Mary’s Springs Academy seeking substitute teachers at all levels to perform the instructional and classroom management process or supervise/monitor a classroom while being instructed virtually, by classroom faculty.
