From the Office of Steve Kelnhofer, P3 - 5th Grade Principal

News from the South Hall

What a blessing it was to watch our fifth through eighth grade students showcasing their musical talents this week at their concerts.  It was wonderful to hear the progression and skill development. This reminds me of the journey of the advent season.  If we do our preparations, our heart is ready to celebrate the birth of Jesus on Christmas.

Hug and Go

Please remember to use the Hug and Go drop off lane as attended to keep everyone safe.  The middle lane through the parking lot is not to be used as a drop off point. If you wish to exit your car and go into school, please remember to use the parking lot and NOT park in the Hug and Go lane.  This would cause a backup of traffic because the person behind you would not be able to pull forward without going backwards.

Winter Weather Clothing

Students will be going outside for recess unless the weather does not permit.  Please help your child or children be prepared for the outdoors before coming to school by proving them with necessary outdoor clothing (jackets, boots, hats, gloves and snowpants).  Students go out unless it is raining or the wind chill is below zero.

Next week will be our final week together before our Christmas break.  We will be welcoming everyone back on Jan. 2, 2019.

God Bless,
Mr. Kelnhofer

Parent Connectors - LedgerExpress Thank You!

Thank you to all the families who joined us at LedgerExpress this past Sunday! It was a huge success! Kids enjoyed decorating Christmas plates and cookies, sipping on hot chocolate, recreating the nativity scene and munching on popcorn while watching the movie, The Star!

Thank you also to all the parent and student volunteers!  We couldn’t have put on this event without you!

Have a wonderful holiday season!
