FROM THE OFFICE OF STEVE KELNHOFER, PREK - 8TH GRADE PRINCIPAL

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Holy Week is a week our faith is lived out in the Bible. It begins with Palm Sunday as Jesus enters Jerusalem with many adorers as life is good at this time. Then it moves to Holy Thursday, the Last Supper/the first mass. Good Friday follows with the passion, suffering and death of Our Lord. The conclusion is found in the joy of Easter Sunday. Throughout our Lord’s journey we can find ourselves. Finding honor, feasting with friends and family, being a servant, sacrifice, prayer in difficult times, being judged and wrongly accused and joy at the end of a trying journey.

SMSA and I wish you a happy and blessed Easter. May you and your family find Jesus during this most important celebration within the church community. Thank you for sharing your child(ren) with SMSA as they help create the face of Christ and Christ’s love within our community. We all have an important role to play and a purpose to fulfill.

Thank you for your continued partnership with SMSA. Together we create a path for tomorrow’s children to achieve amazing dreams.

God Bless,
Steven Kelnhofer

Help the little ones drive! Monday, April 18 - Friday, April 22

Hi Everyone,

My name is Zainah Ott, a local high school student at eAchieve Academy. At our school every student is required to complete a full credit of Service Learning. I wanted to use this opportunity to help our community, but especially the little ones.

I am hosting a Little Needs Drive at SMSA from Monday, April 18th to Friday, April 22nd. There will be 3 boxes in both the North and South Hall offices. There is one for each grade group: Elementary, Middle, and High School. With you and your students’ support we will be able to donate all items to the Fond du Lac Family Resource Center!

List of ideas include:
Diapers, pull-ups, pull-up underwear, wipes, diaper rash cream, bottles, sippy cups, baby spoons, baby bowls/plates, pacifiers, teething items, baby/children’s shampoo, lotion, nose cleaners and hairbrush/combs.

Thank you for your support of the Fond du Lac Family Resource Center!

News and Information

Penny War Results

Thank you for supporting Gavin T. in his Eagle Scout Project by supporting the Penny War. Just for fun, we weighed the coins from Day 4 and they totaled 275 pounds! Overall, we raised $2,534.97, which is the perfect amount to support the building of the Gaga Ball Pit on the upper playground for his Eagle Scout project.

Kindergarten was the winner of the Penny War and will receive a pizza party. Thank you again for your contributions to help Gavin on his journey and to help create a better playground for tomorrow.
