Students, faculty and staff may be out of dress code if they are wearing at least one major item of clothing that is predominantly red, i.e.: t-shirt, sweatshirt, hoodie, pants, etc. Please consult the student handbook for guidelines on out of dress code days. No holes or rips in any clothing. If you chose not to wear red, please come to school in your uniform.

School Nurse Transition
Effective immediately, Patti Shippee, has left her position as school nurse at SMSA. Fortunately, the pupil services team, attendance and administrative staff have been intimately involved in contact tracing and COVID-19 protocols and have been able to seamlessly execute the process in her absence. We plan to hire a nurse/school health and wellness coordinator to fill this position very soon. Please let us know if you or anyone you know might be a good fit!
