In the event that you and your family are adversely impacted by the current situation, are experiencing reductions or elimination of income, and/or are facing undue hardship, we are happy to work in partnership to:

• Eliminate late fees for tuition payments to help you and your family through this crisis.

• Create flexible payment arrangements for any family who is facing COVID-19 related challenges, including:  income reductions, loss of employment, increasing financial burdens, etc.

• Process requests for financial assistance (including help with rent, bills, food, and other necessary expenses) through partnerships with area charitable organizations and tuition offsets through the SMSA Tuition Assistance Program.

  • To submit financial assistance/tuition offset requests for this academic year (2019-20), complete and submit the electronic SMSA Special Circumstances Form.

  • To apply for the SMSA Tuition Assistance Program for the 2020-21 academic year, please visit www.smsacademy.org/assistance and complete the official application form.

• Identify other sources of financial assistance and/or non-monetary student supports to aid continued enrollment at SMSA.
