  • A group of parents are planning the annual parent-sponsored “SMSA All Staff Christmas Gathering” as a way to thank and celebrate all of the wonderful people who care for our children.  The event will include food & beverage and gifts for all who attend.  Donating to this endeavor is completely optional, and all who do will be included on the invitation sent to staff before Christmas break.  Please send a message to Rose Ahern at roseannahern@gmail.comif you would like to take part, and details will be forwarded.

SMSA participates in several “collection” fund raising programs.  Please continue to collect Box Tops for Education and Milk caps and labels from Kwik Trip Milk (Milk Moola).  We have also now joined the “Loaves 4 Learning Program” – clip UPCs from Country Hearth and Village Hearth products.  All of these items may be dropped off at the North or South Hall Office or the Scrip Office.  Please keep collecting as these small acts really do add up!  Rewards are used to purchase supplies needed at SMSA.

The Scrip office will be closed December 25^th – January 1^st.  Regular Scrip hours will resume January 2^nd.

The last day to purchase special orders and receive them before Christmas break is December 18^th.  These orders will be ready for pick up on December 21^st.

• K – 4^th Grade presents “Miracle at Midnight” on Tuesday, December 19^th in the Hutter Gym. Performances at 12:45 pm – 1:45 pm and from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm.
• High School Christmas Concert on Wednesday, December 20^th at Sacred Heart @ 7:00 pm.

A friendly reminder as we have entered the colder temperatures that bring along unexpected illnesses. If a student develops a temperature of 100 degrees or above, parents will be notified to promptly remove the child from school. Students should be symptom free for 24 hours without requiring medication for fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or other symptoms prior to returning to school.
