North and South Hall Sign-In Reminders and Safety Reflection

North and South Hall Sign-in Reminders

At SMSA, your children are our children; therefore, the safety and security of each is of highest priority.  As a result, we would like to remind you that all parents, family members, visitors and guests are to enter the building at the North or South entrance and sign in/register at the office.  Visitors to the building must have a visitors badge visible at all times.

Safety Reflection

Having recently had the opportunity to see our safety protocols and security system in action, I can assure you they are spot on.  Your support of the above request and continued support of our traffic safety protocols (click here to view a few traffic safety protocols) is sincerely appreciated as we work in partnership to ensure we advance our students and the SMSA mission.

In your service,

Stacey L. Akey

Interim President

From the Office of Dr. Julie Shively, EdD, 6 - 12 Principal

Drug Take Back

It is a good habit to periodically clean out your medicine cabinet so that old or expired medication is disposed of.  Please click the links below for information on how you can safely dispose of your medication.  It also reminds everyone of the dangers associated with prescription medication.

In Christ,
Julie

Middle School Musical, Mary Poppins Jr. - April 12th and 13th

The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many nannies packing before Mary Poppins appears in their living room. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family how to value each other and the world around them. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren’t the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that “Anything can happen if you let it.”

The show will be held at the UW-Fond du Lac Prairie Theatre, 400 University Dr in Fond du Lac. Show dates are Friday, April 12th at 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 13th at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for students and senior citizens if purchased prior to the show, by clicking here. Tickets are $10 for adults and $4 for students and senior citizens if paid at the door.
