New Altar Server Training – January 29th

Greg Brunette will be offering training for new altar servers for Holy Family Catholic Community weekend Masses on Saturday, January 29th. This is for new servers, and primarily for those serving at Holy Family Church, but anyone is welcome to attend.

 

Please meet Greg in the vesting sacristy at Holy Family Church at 3:40 p.m., in order to participate in the 4:00 p.m. Mass and have an hour of training afterward.


Parent-Only Meeting For First Communion Preparation – February 9th

Holy Family Catholic Community will hold a parent-only meeting for those with children participating in the 2021-2022 First Communion Preparation Program on Wednesday, February 9th. The talk will take place from 6:20 to 7:20 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church. Childcare is available for children age 3 and older in the Sacred Heart School Gym.


Parish Mission Less Than A Month Away – February 27th – March 1st

Author, podcast co-host, blogger, and speaker Joe Heschmeyer will lead Holy Family’s Parish Mission: The Prodigal Son from 6:30 to 8:30 pm February 27th – March 1st at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way. Joe will examine the parable through the lenses of what it means to be a son or daughter of God, what it means to be brothers and sisters with our fellow Christians, and how to lead according to the model laid out by God, the Father. 

Confessions will be offered each night following the Mission talk. Childcare available upon request by contacting Sabina (920) 921-0580 ext. 501. Livestreaming will be available on Facebook at the time of the event only.


Blood Drive Set For February 9th

Donate blood and help to save a life at our Holy Family Catholic Community Blood Drive on Wednesday, February 9th from noon to 5:00 p.m. in Holy Family Hall.

Book Study On “Works Of Mercy” Underway – January 26th – March 16th

Holy Family Catholic Community will host a book study of What to Do When Jesus is Hungry: A Practical Guide to the Works of Mercy from Wednesday, January 26th to Wednesday, March 16th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room at Holy Family Church. 

In this down-to-earth yet inspiring guide, Father Andrew Apostoli, C.F.R., explains the Corporal Works of Mercy and illustrates multiple ways we can do them in our modern everyday life. For more information on the book study, contact Kelsey at kelseyc@hffdl.org or (920) 921-0580 ext. 303.

Aurora Free Injury Evaluation

If pain has moved you from participant to spectator, call Aurora Sports Health to schedule a free injury evaluation. Performed by a licensed athletic trainer, physical therapist or occupational therapist, the free screening includes a pain assessment and recommendations for treatment or physician referral, if needed.  Click here for the assessment.
