Parents! Your children can get an extra fun faith lesson when you stay after the 10:00 am Mass at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, on Sunday, April 14 to join the Faith Builders Club for Kids! This month, children will engage with a short video lesson and make a cute craft to take home, both centered around the Iconography of Our Lady. The club meets for about 15 minutes, and coffee and water will be available for parents in the Fireside Room.
Holy Family’s “Peace in the Chaos” presentation featuring Catholic educator and speaker, Anne Auger, has been rescheduled for 8:15 to 9:30 am on Friday, April 26. Come to Holy Family South Hall, 271 Fourth Street Way, to learn how you can emulate Mary’s example of peace, and find peace in the trials you face big and small. Children are welcome to attend.
Only a few spots remain for Holy Family’s trip to the Steubenville-St. Paul Conference July 26-28. Steubenville-St. Paul is a weekend conference that evangelizes, equips, and empowers high school youth to become radical, joyful disciples. Spots are available to high school students on a first-come, first-serve basis. In honor of Fr. Edward Sippel, Holy Family Catholic Community will award two $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school students who, along with their parent(s), have been registered members of the parish for at least one year prior to applying for the scholarship. Come to Holy Family Hall, 271 Fourth Street Way, May 10-12 for a self-guided tour of 158 Eucharistic miracles collected from 22 countries, prayerfully gathered by Blessed Carlos Acutis before his death in October 2006. All verified and approved by the Catholic Church, this is an amazing opportunity to delve deeper into your faith and witness the True Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.
The exhibit will be open from 7:30 am to noon and 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 10; 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and 5:00 to 6:30 pm on Saturday, May 11; and 9:00 am to 2:30 pm on Sunday, May 12. Volunteers are also needed for setup, take down, and during exhibition hours.

Enjoy a pasta meal while raising money for Mary‘s Meals. Their mission is to provide a daily nutritious meal to children in some of the world’s poorest communities.

Explore the fascinating world of dinosaurs, discover real fossils, and enjoy prehistoric crafts and activities, plus a special presentation led by Paleontologist Nick of the Dinosaur Discovery Museum!
The Earth Day Fair returns to Founder’s Hall at the motherhouse of the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes (CSA) directly across the street from the SMSA campus. On April 27, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., you are invited to interact with 18 Earth-focused exhibitors and participate in tours, presentations, a raffle, and other activities. Whether you’re spotting birds, taking time to pray the labyrinth, or purchasing food from the food truck, you’re sure to find something you love and plenty to learn!
