Divine Mercy Sunday at Holy Family – April 11th

Join Holy Family Catholic Community in celebrating Divine Mercy Sunday at Holy Family Church beginning with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Reconciliation from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. this Sunday. There will be a Divine Mercy Holy Hour from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m., which includes the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and Benediction. 

 

Mass will not be part of the celebration in English. The Hispanic community’s celebration will begin with the 12:00 p.m. Mass at Holy Family.


Cor Jesu – April 15th

Holy Family Catholic Community’s Cor Jesu—a night of Adoration, Confession, and Mass—will take place next Thursday, April 15th. The night will begin at St. Mary Church, 59 E. Merrill Ave., at 6:40 p.m. with the Rosary, followed by Adoration and Confession at 7:00 p.m., and Mass at 8:00 p.m.. 

 

In May, Cor Jesu will return to its regular schedule and be held on the first Thursday of the month, May 6th.


Pastoral Council Nominations – Due April 15th

Nominations are due next week for Holy Family Catholic Community’s Pastoral Council. The role of a Pastoral Council member is to work with the pastor and leadership team to ensure that the mission of Christ is being carried out effectively and that the faith needs of the parishioners are being met. Holy Family is looking to fill six member spots, as well as the Young Adult position. 

 

Forms are available at all Holy Family Church sites, as well on the Holy Family website, and must be returned to the Parish Office, 271 Fourth Street Way, by Thursday, April 15th. Please note that you can nominate yourself or others for the role, but should fill out one sheet per person.


Join Holy Family Catholic Community for Children’s Liturgy of the Word – Every Friday

Join Holy Family Catholic Community, Fr. Edward Sanchez, for Children’s Liturgy of the Word every Friday! In videos posted to the Holy Family Facebook page, Instagram account, and YouTube channel, Fr. Edward explains the upcoming weekend’s Gospel for children and adults alike. 

 

In addition, children can learn how to make crafts related to the Gospel with Crafty Catholic Kids, a series created by Holy Family Parishioner Linda Uselmann. These videos are also available on the parish’s Facebook page every Friday.

2021 Middle School Golf

Middle School Golf is back in 2021! Any student in grades 6-8 in the Flyway Conference schools, the FDL School district, and surrounding area schools are eligible for middle school golf! This is a great opportunity for middle schoolers to get some instruction and experience playing golf.
