Announcements

  • The Sophomore Retreat leader meeting has been moved to MONDAY, Feb. 10th in Ms. C’s room. This is for Juniors and Seniors who want to help lead this retreat
  • Students, especially juniors and seniors need to be submitting their service hours to X2VOL.  Juniors, these are needed for confirmation and seniors these are needed for some scholarships and your resumes.  Any questions, please check with Mrs. Burkart.
  • Camp Anokijig in Plymouth, WI  is hiring for summer camp 2020.  Must be 18 years or older.  Interested in working with kids in an outdoor setting for the entire summer.  Please get more information in the Counseling Office.
    Kettle Moraine State Forest-Northern Unit is recruiting employees for the 2020 summer season.  Must be 17 years and older for a variety of positions.  Please stop in the Counseling office for more information.
  • Just a reminder to students interested in Youth Apprenticeship next year, your application needs to be turned in to the Counseling office by Monday, February 10th.
  • The counseling office has received the following scholarships, please stop in for more information
    • The Trent Schueffner Memorial Scholarship which is available to graduating seniors planning to attend a 4 year university or a trade school.  Must be planning to have an “outdoor” major or planning a profession in the trades.
    • The Cousins Subs Wisconsin Sports Award Scholarship.  Must have a GPA of 3.5 or above, have participated in a WIAA sanctioned sport and been involved in civic or community activities in high school.
    • The FDL County Sheriff Benevolent Association Scholarship is now available.  
    • There are CAPP scholarships available to incoming freshmen at UWO who have taken at least one CAPP class while in high school.
    • The Marine Corps Scholarship available to children of active duty, reserve or veteran U. S. Marine or U. S. Navy Corpsman.  Stop in the Counseling office for more information.
    •  The Hazel L. Stephenson Scholarship which is available to graduating seniors who are continuing their education at a UW System campus.  Applications in the counseling office.
    • Cops for Kids scholarship.
    • The Lakeshore Elementary Scholarship.  Anyone who attended there for at least one year may apply for this scholarship.
    • The Eastern Ridge Home Builders Association scholarship.
