No School - Monday, January 21st

There will be no school on Monday, January 21, 2019 due to a teacher in-service.  The Business Office will be open normal hours, 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and the Scrip Office will be open normal hours as well, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Middle School Mass in Hutter - Wednesday, January 23rd

Please join us on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 9:22 a.m. – 10:22 a.m. for Mass in Hutter Gym.  Make sure to sign in at the North Office and get a visitors pass.


Middle School Musical Auditions - January 23rd and 24th

Calling all Middle School students!  Sign up to audition for this years MS musical, Mary Poppins, Jr.  Auditions will be held Wednesday, January 23 and Thursday January 24, 2019.  Please sign up for a 10 minute time slot, sign up sheet are available in the North Office.  Be prepared to sing a short song of your choice and read a few passages from the script.

Rehearsals for the play will begin the week of Monday, February 4, 2019 and will be held on Tuesdays thru Thursdays.

 

The musical will be held Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13, 2019.  Please stay tuned for more information on the event!


Hockey Team Announces Grade School Event - Saturday, January 26th

Grade School students are invited to cheer on the Ledger varsity hockey team on Saturday, January 26, 2019 as they take on the Sun Prairie Cardinals.  The game begins at 4:30 p.m. at Blue Line Family Ice Center (550 Fond du Lac Avenue).  All Grade School students present will be eligible for prizes and raffle drawings.  Fans will be treated to a “mini game” by our local Blue Line U8 hockey teams. Following the game, Grade School students are invited to a gathering where they will receive player trading cards and autographs from the Varsity and JV skaters (while supplies last).

Dress your best for Mass!  (School appropriate lengths for dresses/skirts and covered shoulders.  Please wear ties with oxford shirts for 6th-12th grade)

 

All System Mass from 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church presided by the Most Reverend Archbishop Jerome Listecki..  All are welcome!

Students may dress in Spirit wear tops and jeans (with no holes and no sweatpants) or uniform pants.  If students do not choose to participate in the dress up day, please have them come to school in their school uniform.

Students may dress in red, white and blue tops and jeans (with no holes and no sweatpants) or uniform pants.  If students do not choose to participate in the dress up day, please have them come to school in their school uniform.

Students may dress in neon tops and jeans (with no holes and no sweatpants) or uniform pants.  If students do not choose to participate in the dress up day, please have them come to school in their school uniform.

Students may dress in a fleece or flannel top and jeans (with no holes and no sweatpants) or uniform pants.  If students do not choose to participate in the dress up day, please have them come to school in their school uniform.

Michigan Tech University Summer Youth Programs

Michigan Technological University is offering a summer youth program for middle (6-8th grade) and high school (9-11th grade) students.  They offer more than 50 explorations in everything from aviation to forensic science, photography to engineering technology and many branches of STEM.  Stop in the Counseling Office for more information.


New Apparel Option Added to Lands’ End Program

A new insulated vest has been added to the Lands’ End Uniform Program for boys/girls in grades 6-12. This black vest with SMSA logo is the perfect layering item as the winter weather approaches.
