The P.A.R.T.Y. at the PAC program is being provided through a grant from the ThedaCare Family of Foundations. The P.A.R.T.Y. program was initiated at the Trauma Center at ThedaCare-Neenah (formerly Theda Clark Medical Center) to help students realize the consequences of risk taking behavior and to help empower students to make wise choices.

The mission of the P.A.R.T.Y. program is to promote injury prevention through reality education, enabling youth to recognize risk and make informed choices about behaviors. The P.A.R.T.Y. at the PAC program objective is to improve the health and safety of teenagers through a high-energy, high impact program.

The schedule for the day promises to be high energy, high impact, and very educational. As you know, our students can be exposed to many risky behaviors every day. Through the program, students will be educated about the perils of risk-taking behavior and the consequences.

The tentative schedule for the day is as follows:

  • High impact opening
  • Distracted driving, alcohol and drug-related results
  • Trauma surgeons will present on some of their experiences
  • Trauma survivors will speak and tell their stories

This program promises to provide for an eventful and enlightening experience for all students. As you know our young people can be exposed to many risks and it is our responsibility to provide them with information that will assist them to make good decisions about their behavior. Students will depart at 11 a.m. with chaperones and will return to school before the end of the day, approximately 3:00 p.m.  Students must bring a bag lunch on this day as we will be leaving the building before the lunch hour!
