Prom Tickets on Sale Now - April 27th

Prom and post prom tickets are on sale now during both high school lunch periods.

 

Prom tickets are $50 per person and includes dinner.

 

Post prom tickets are $5 per person in advance or $10 at the door.

 

Please bring separate checks or cash for each ticket.

Post Prom Volunteers Needed - April 27th

Post Prom will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019.  We are in need of many volunteers to help make this a safe, fun and memorable night for our children.

Post Prom Information - April 27th

Junior and Senior Parents!  Prom is less than 2 weeks away.

 

Below are a few things to note:

 

Tickets

Tickets are on sale daily during both lunch periods. Prom is $50 per person & includes dinner.  Post Prom tickets are $5 in advance and $10 at the door.  Please keep money for each separate.  Checks can be made to SMSA.  If students are bringing a guest from another school, a form is required to be completed in advance.  These can be picked up in the office.

 

Donations

We are still accepting monetary donations as well as door prizes.  Please send donations to the Business Office.  We can accept these until Thursday, April 25th.

Senior Parents Reserve the Date: Senior Banquet -May 19th

Invitations to the Senior Banquet have been mailed. Please respond as soon as possible to reserve your seat. The price is included in the invitation.

 

The banquet will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

College Planning Day for High School Juniors – April 26th

This morning event gives prospective students the opportunity to visit up to four programs in their chosen career cluster, take a campus tour, interact with current students, learn about the program admissions process and next steps to make a decision.

 

The planning day will be held on April 26, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Marquette University Summer Leadership Institute – July 17th – 19th

This 3 day Summer Leadership Institute is a free opportunity for rising high school seniors who wish to gain a better understanding of leadership within the various contexts of the college experience.  Students will also learn about what it means to act as a leader in service to others in the community.

Agnesian Grief Relief summer opportunity – August 13th

Bereavement Services offers an Equine Experience for grieving teens entering 8th to 12th grade in fall.  Through interaction with horses, teenagers are able to express and recognize their grief.  

 

This event is free of charge and will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The Girl Scouts of Manitou Council have summer camp opportunities for girls of all ages. Moraine Park’s Gas Utility Program

Moraine Park is offering a Gas Utility program (technical diploma) at the Beaver Dam Campus.  Begins in June with graduation the following March.  Employers are in need!  Nearly half of local utility/natural gas companies report that they have difficulty finding trained entry-level technicians.

Pool Server

South Hills is looking for seasonal staff to work poolside this summer!

The ideal candidate must be upbeat and service oriented.  Pool servers will serve in a dining capacity poolside.  The position runs from the end of May to early September each year.

  • Private club experience preferred but not required

Fox Valley Summer Health Careers Camp – Applications due May 3rd

The Northeastern Wisconsin Area Health Education Center is offering a Health Careers Summer Camp on June 23 – 27, 2019 in Oshkosh.  If you are interested in a health career and would like to learn about multiple career areas, have time to ask questions, gain hands-on experience through activities provided by the healthcare professional, then stop in the Counseling Office for more information.

Rosenow Elementary School Scholarship

Rosenow Elementary School PTO is offering three $500 scholarships to graduating seniors who attended Rosenow Elementary at least one year and who plan to continue their education at a college or a technical school.

Horatio Alger Association Scholarship Program

The Horatio Alger Association seeks to assist students who have demonstrated integrity, perseverance in overcoming adversity, strength of character, financial need, commitment to pursue career or technical certification/degree, and a desire to contribute to society. Criteria include being enrolled in an eligible program in Fall 2019, exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a career or technical program (up to 2 years) at an accredited non-profit, post-secondary institution in the United States.

Scholarship for agriculture or agribusiness – Deadline April 12th

The Envision Greater Fond du Lac Agri-Business Council Scholarship and The Fond du Lac Area Foundation Harold Reinecke Scholarship are available in the Counseling Office for students pursuing agriculture or agribusiness.  Must be a resident of Fond du Lac County.  Deadline April 12th.
