From the Desk of Steve Kelnhofer - Elementary School Principal

Dear Parents/Guardians,

It was awesome to see all the fun, joy and community through the Halloween activities this week. Thank you Homeroom parents for supporting classroom Halloween parties. It’s always fun to bring our SMSA community together to celebrate. It brings me great joy to see the little Ledgers dressed up for Halloween as the share their characters with the community around them.

This week we attended All Saints Day Mass as a school community. I would like to highlight the third graders as they learned about saints and animated role models for us and lead us at Mass by Litany of Saints. It’s a very special moment in our school year. Awesome work third grade teachers, parents and students! We are blessed to have all of you at SMSA.

We are approaching the end of our first trimester of school. The trimester officially closes Nov. 16th. Skyward is one of the avenues of communication to depict the learning that is happening at SMSA with your child(ren). If you have not yet interacted with Skyward regarding the learning that is happening for your child(ren), please use this web address to support your journey with Skyward.

Thank you for your continued partnership with SMSA. Together we will create a path for tomorrow’s children to achieve amazing dreams.

God Bless,
Steven Kelnhofer
