Dear Parents/Guardians,
Thank you for creating an amazing Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week!
This year was like none other, that I have experienced in 20 plus years in education. There have been challenges and blessings. As I’ve been reflecting on this year, one item I saw time and time again was Buffalo Leadership across the canvas of our educational portrait. Each teacher or staff member in their special way created a portion of the picture of this memorable school year. Some of them focused on community, others learning, others leading or responsibility and respect. Underpinning all these core values was the faith in each other and faith in Our Father above. Our trust and belief that He will be with us moment by moment through challenge and triumph; believing face to face learning will be available for more than two weeks, believing in each other and believing that positive energy will be the hope to guide us through. Having the courage to take on the challenges of the year. To stretch past fears and doubts to a mind set of running into the storm. These are a few of the characteristics of SMSA that will continue to move us forward. The characteristics of an organization ready for next steps towards sustaining excellence.
Teachers and staff are all true blessings to SMSA and the students who love learning from them. It’s an honor to work alongside them.
God Bless,
Steven Kelnhofer
