From the Office of Steve Kelnhofer, P3 - 5th Grade Principal

News from the South Hall

Dear Parents,

As we say goodbye (hopefully) to bitter cold weather, we say hello to the season of Lent.  Please partner with us as we journey the Lenten road and build a closer relationship with Jesus as we fast, pray and give alms.

Third quarter concludes on Friday, March 15, 2019.  Report cards will be available online on Friday, March 29th.  Please remember to sign electronically.  You can access Skyward at anytime throughout the school year to view how your student(s) are achieving.  Please feel free to communicate with teachers as well if you need to further understand learning that is occurring.

Winter break – Monday, March 16th – Friday, March 22nd

As a reminder, we’ll be enjoying winter break starting Monday, March 16, 2019 and will resume classes on Monday,  March 24, 2019. The South Hall office will be closed.  It’s recommended all students bring home their winter gear and gym clothing for break to get cleaned so we can do cleaning at SMSA.

God Bless,

Steven Kelnhofer

Book Fair Co-Chair Needed

Looking to get involved raising money for our school and love books? Consider co-chairing our book fairs!  Book Fairs are just one of the ways our Parent Connectors help raise money for our school.

We are in need of a co-chair for our book fairs that we hold in Fall and Spring of each school year.  Co-chairs also oversee a summer reading program sponsored by Scholastic for the elementary students.  As a co-chair you will assist in advertising, scheduling volunteers, running the sales, set up and take down of the fairs.  Our fairs usually run for approximately 2-3 days. The profits we earn are then used to purchase learning materials for our school.

If you are interested and would like to know more, please contact Lisa Serovy at serovy@charter.net.
