From the Office of Steve Kelnhofer, PreK - 8th Grade Principal

Dear Parents,

Can you believe we are closing in on the end of the second quarter, marking our halfway point of the school year? It’s a joy to see students continuing to learn academics and The Ledger Way. To recall, The Ledger Way is built from 6 powerful words, Faith, Learning, Respect, Leadership, Community and Responsibility. Students continue to encounter opportunities to improve these traits as they grow and mature throughout the school year.

Thank you for partnering with us and we look for a great second half of the school year!

God Bless,
Steve Kelnhofer

Staffing
We are excited to welcome Nathan Kaiser to the Ledge as our new health teacher for our eighth grade students. He will be teaching high school phys. ed. as well. We are excited to have him here. He’ll be starting on January 21st, the beginning of the third quarter.

Love and Logic Tip of the Week
There can be great power in just letting kids know we are here for them and available.

MAPS Testing
Students from grades 2 – 8 will be taking the winter MAPS test starting Monday, January 6 – Thursday, January 30, 2020.

God Bless,

Steven Kelnhofer

Thank you to everyone who sent in and/or scanned your receipts to support SMSA. Here is an update of our latest collection.

Our annual goal is $1,000. To-date we have submitted and earned $955.80!

For the December Challenge our Box Top Receipt scans totaled $23.80.

Let’s see how much we can surpass our $1,000 goal.

Notice: until the program has transitioned to a ‘scanning’ program you can earn 2X the value by scanning your receipts for those Box Tops that have expiration dates. You DO NOT need to clip and submit the new Box Tops. Don’t have the app? Go to GooglePlay or the AppStore
