Dear Parents,

Happy Valentine’s Day!  Today we will be celebrating with our classrooms by sharing treats, kind notes and fun games.  It’s amazing all of these items can share love as Jesus taught.  I don’t believe Jesus ever described love as a feeling, but rather an action.  The ultimate act of love was shown on the cross.  A vulnerable sacrifice for another.  As the song goes, they’ll know we are Christians by our love.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Due to the cancellation of school and evening activities on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 the Elementary parent/teacher conferences will be moving to a format in which teachers and parents will set up a mutually agreeable time to conference.  Elementary teachers will communicate with parents or guardians to reschedule the planned conferences.

Thank you for your understanding and partnering with us on your child’s educational journey.

There will be no school on Friday, February 15, 2019 due to teachers in-service.  

The Business and Scrip Office will be open normal hours.

Join us Friday, March 1, 2019 as our elementary students lead us in prayer in The Chapel of St. Mary at SMSA.

March 1st schedule:

K-2nd Grade Mass 8:10 – 8:50 a.m.

Mrs. Garlow’s 2nd grade class will lead us in prayer.

3rd-5th Grade Mass 9 – 9:45 a.m.

Ms. Teofilo’s 3rd grade class will lead us in prayer.

Mrs. Hurst and Mrs. Giese’s classes will be in attendance for the 8:10 a.m. service.

Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Staerzl and Mrs. Townsend’s classes will be in attendance for the 9:00 a.m. service.

Please send in all Milk Moola and Campbell’s Soup Lables by Friday, March 15, 2019.  This will be the the last year we participate in Milk Moola and Campbell’s soup labels.

We will continue to collect  Box Tops and Loaves for Learning.
