Dear Parents,

Our third quarter has ended, even though winter has returned.  Report cards will be available electronically on Friday, April 6, 2018. Please sign into Skyward to review and sign your student’s electronic report card.  Thank you for being partners in your child’s/children’s educational experience at SMSA.  Our teachers are able to conference with you if you are in need of any clarification regarding grades.  It’s as simple as setting up a meeting with the teachers.
Forward Exam testing is kicking into high gear for fourth grade students this week and concluding the beginning of next week.  Third grade and fifth grade students have completed the majority of their testing.  I’m proud of how all the students are working and respecting each other during testing periods.  
I’m looking forward to seeing grandparents/special friends on Wednesday, April 25th or Thursday, April 26th.  Thank you for signing up as we start to organize our lists. It will be an exciting day!  I love sharing all the good happenings at SMSA!

Grandparent/Special Friend Day: April 25th & 26th
Registration forms were sent home last week.  Thank you to all the families who have already returned their forms and money.  If you haven’t yet done so, please do by Friday, April 6th as we will start grouping the students. Registration is required for this event due to scheduling. Watch for more details on volunteering for the event as well as donations!  Thank you so much!

Fond du Lac Children’s Museum “Dash and Dot” Coding
The Children’s Museum is offering a free after school program for girls in grades 3-5. The program’s goal is to spark interest in computer sciences at an early age. This program will be held in the Multi Purpose Room on the 4th floor at SMSA.
