It was remarkable to see all the grandparents and special friends at SMSA this week taking part in Grandparent’s/Special Friend Day. They had the experiences of planting seeds, enjoying a light breakfast and enjoying a wonderful prayer service.
Thank you to all volunteers who helped make the days run smoothly. Volunteers helped by bringing in food and drink, parking, welcoming, running various stations and so much more. Also, thank you to the teachers for lending a helping hand and being understanding of the change to the daily schedule. A special thank you goes out to Valerie Everson and Andrea Nuss who spent a lot of time organizing and planning for these days.
It was a GRAND event!
