News from the South Hall

Dear Parents,

Last week, during our K – 2nd grade Mass, I witnessed two kindergartners bring the gifts to the altar from the back of the chapel.  Watching each of them walking so carefully with the gifts was wonderfully precious.  It brought these questions to my mind; Do I bring my gifts to Jesus with such care?  How often do I thank God for the gifts I’ve been given?  What would happen if we all cared for each other as gifts from God the way these two kindergartners are caring for the gifts they have right now in their hands? During this Holy Week, please join me in reflecting in these questions.

After School Playground Safety

Thank you for helping us with student safety after school. This week we’ve seen changes to help the whole community.  As a reminder, students may go to after-school care at 3:00 p.m.  They may also reside in the South hall lobby to be supervised until 3:15 p.m. by a supervisor.

NO student is to remain on the premises for the purpose of playing on the playground after school without parental supervision standing on the playground.

Forward Testing

Forward testing has concluded for the elementary students. The test results will be given to you at the start of the next school year.

God Bless,

Steven Kelnhofer
