Welcome back from spring break. I hope your family had an opportunity to spend time together. In this eLedger you will find a special message for middle school parents/guardians as well as more information on the Wisconsin Forward exam.
We are thankful for your partnership as our students learn and grow through these middle school years. As spring time approaches, the administration team, Mrs. Trepte and I, in partnership with teachers, are spending time focusing on our Core Values and their importance to providing a safe community academically, emotionally, socially and spiritually through middle school classroom conversations to support the end of the school year. These conversations include discussions around the impact that unkind words, unkind actions, bullying and harassment can have on an individual and the school community as well as the seriousness of these actions.
The Ledger Way depicts St. Mary’s Springs’ Core Values that exemplify the commitment we have towards helping each student develop his/her moral compass. The areas of faith, learning, respect, leadership, community and responsibility provide a lens through which our students can visualize how they may interact and treat each other as gifts from God. As we work together as a school community and in partnership with you, we will prepare our students to meet future challenges and become faith filled leaders of tomorrow.
Forward testing will begin on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 and conclude on Friday, April 16, 2021. Please click on the link to learn more about the Wisconsin Forward Assessment. Forward Parent Letter Please partner with us and have your child attend school during Forward testing sessions and be physically and mentally prepared as possible. Thank you.
I pray you have a blessed Easter celebration ignited by the beauty of the Holy Triduum that lays before the Easter celebration.
God Bless,
Steven Kelnhofer
