Brita McCullough, MD ’99

As an alumna of SMSA, I am grateful for the opportunity to give back to the school that not only provided me with a strong academic background, but one that allowed me to grow in faith, service, and community. Looking back at the four years I spent at St. Mary’s Spring High School, I know I entered college with the education foundation I needed to succeed in a higher education setting.

More importantly though, SMSA taught me the value of faith and community. I built several relationships with friends, teachers, and coaches that have continued to impact my life. Throughout high school, I was involved in many athletic, academic, and service groups that led me to understand the importance of relationships with people and giving back to the community. Doing so in an environment that taught and modeled Catholic and Christian values made the experience even more lasting. As I look forward in my life, I also look back. With Ledger pride and a thankful heart. I am glad to give back to the SMSA community.
