Donating “In Honor” or “In Memory” of someone is available all year on our giving platform, recognized annual in The Ledge Magazine. However, these honor and memorial gifts, made online from December 3, 2023 through the end of day December 31, 2023, will also be included in a special recognition video to be published on our Facebook page and sent via email to you, our Loyal Ledgers, before January 15, 2024.

How do I make a donation in memory or honor of someone special?

To make a donation “In Memory” or “In Honor” of someone special, visit our donation page by clicking here. Then, enter the amount you would like to donate, and click the “Dedicate this donation” box. Enter the name of the person you wish to dedicate your donation for, and add a comment with “In Memory” or “In Honor,” then click the “Donate” button.

Once you complete your donation, we will automatically send you a receipt with instructions where you will be able to send a custom card with this dedication.

If you wish, after you donate, please email Kristin at kzitlow@smsacademy.org with a photo and the person’s name to be included in the video. This information will be included in the automatic receipt you will receive after your donation is complete.
