Supply Chain Issues/Meal Flexibility

As school foodservice programs return to normal service and menus, schools are facing unprecedented issues with the supply chain that will cause us to alter our posted menus with little to no notice.  We are working closely with our distributors and manufactures to secure both the food and supply items needed to support our programs.

While it is our intention to serve the posted menu each day at school, supply issues will not make this possible throughout the school year until supply chain issues are rectified.  We will always attempt to substitute the scheduled menu item with another that is as similar as possible to the extent we are able to do so.

To help families keep abreast of changes, families are encouraged to use our online menu app  MealViewer  This online menu service provides a quick and easy way to view our school’s daily menus.

MealViewer provides:

  • Convenience Available 24/7 on the web or through our mobile app for your smartphone.
  • Safety – Create profiles for your students and select their allergens.  Get alerts each time that allergen is on the menu!
  • Fun Feedback – Let students favorite and rate certain meals so that we ensure we are serving meals they enjoy!

Signing Up is easy!

  1. Go to schools.mealviewer.com or download the mobile app and register for a free account.
  2. Create a profile for you and your students by first selecting their school.
  3. Set up your student’s profile by selecting the appropriate allergens and let them favorite their most loved meals.  Now you will receive notifications every time any of these are served!

The school menus link is available on our website.  Click here to see our new look!

News and Information

Christmas Card Fundraiser Recipient Nomination Form

A long standing tradition at SMSA continues again this year with the Christmas Card Fundraiser, in which students in Grades 4 through 8 will be creating and selling hand made Christmas Cards.  These cards will be sold for $2.00 each by the St. Mary’s Springs families after all the masses at Holy Family Parish sites on Saturday, December 4th and Sunday, December 5th.  We will also be having a movie and popcorn afternoon, the day before Christmas Break, where students can bring in a donation to watch the movie of their choice and enjoy popcorn.  Everyone will be able to participate, whether they bring in a donation or not.  All proceeds from the card sale and movie/popcorn will go to benefit a local child (Fond du Lac County) and his/her family, who is currently or has had medical concerns/conditions.

If you know of a child and their family that you feel is deserving of a nomination, please fill out the form.  All nominations will be reviewed and a recipient will be chosen by random draw.
