Drop off and Pick Up Reminders

SMSA recently received a call from Johnson Bus company alerting us that parents/guardians (P/G) are not properly using the round-a-bout to exit the South (upper) parking lot. P/G are instead choosing to drive straight up into the bus loading zone near the loading dock to exit.

There has been many hours spent on traffic flow and best practices to ensure safe arrivals and exits. It is imperative that you fully utilize the round-a-bouts and DO NOT drive past the busses to exit. This is for the safety of our students.

Thank you for your joint effort ensuring the safety of our students, your children.

The event this year will be held in January at Whispering Springs Golf Club (380 Whispering Springs Dr.).   For many families, this is given in place of individual Christmas gifts for staff and teachers. The event will include appetizers and beverages for all who attend.  Each family participating is asked to give a minimum of $50. Monies will be accepted through Friday, December 20, 2019 and can be dropped off at school or USPS mailed to: either Andrea Nuss or Valerie Everson (please email – listed below – for address).
