A Message from the Office of Julie Shively, EdD 6 - 12 Grade Principal
New Faculty Members
I am thrilled to introduce some new faculty members who have accepted our offer to join our strong and growing community of learners!
Patricia Arndt is replacing Irene Pfister in HS English who is leaving to become a full-time mother. Patti is a familiar Springs parent and an experienced educator. She has already embedded herself in our English Department and is excited to begin.
Dawn Gonzales is replacing Ms. Glass in high school science. She comes to us from public schools, is a military veteran and looks forward to working in our Catholic environment.
Alex Mory is replacing Ryan Giese in middle school social studies. He has taken the unique opportunity to teach students in South Korea, Palestine and Jordan, so will be able to bring those life experiences to the 6th and 7th grade students! Alex has also been in contact with our HS tennis coach to join our coaching staff next year in tennis!
Emily Comfort will bridge the middle and high school Theology Department to assist in our expanding student population. She will be teaching one grade level in middle school and one grade level in high school. Emily has worked with young people in the school and parish setting for the past seven years, most recently at St. Frances Cabrini. She looks forward to seeing the changes in our young people between middle and high school.
These new members have already been in contact with our current faculty to learn about the culture and curriculum. We love the energy and new ideas that they bring and can’t wait for them to be with us next year.
Please join us in welcoming our new teachers and wishing well the teachers who are departing.
In Christ,
Julie
A System Prayer From SMSA Chaplin, Fr. John Mitchell
A System Prayer on Finding a New President
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful, and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created and you shall renew the face of the earth.
Lord God, as our school searches for a new President to lead our community, send down your Holy Spirit to guide the decision making process. Send us a leader who will bless and strengthen our school according to your will, and who will in turn be blessed and strengthened by serving in our midst. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

News and Information
News from FDL County Communications and Emergency Management
The FDL County Communications and Emergency Management teams is asking all local schools reach out to parents to share the information below:
Fond du Lac County Communications and Emergency Management is asking everyone to please sign up for a new system available in Fond du Lac County called Smart911. Smart911 allows individuals to create a Safety Profile for their household at www.smart911.com or on the Smart911 App that includes any information they want 9-1-1 and responders to have in the event of an emergency. When an individual makes a 9-1-1 call, their Safety Profile is automatically displayed to the 9-1-1 call taker, allowing them to send the right responders to the right location with the right information.
The Smart911 app provides greater access to the lifesaving benefits of Smart911 and targeted location-based alerts to all individuals. The Smart911 App is available on the Apple Store or Google Play. The information entered is only accessible when 911 is called from a phone number that is tied to a Smart911 profile and is only available to responders for a short time during the call. The information is maintained in a secure database and the information is not able to be queried, shared, or sold.
For more information or questions, please contact Bobbi Hicken, Director of Communications and Emergency Management for Fond du Lac County 920-929-7647.
