WIS 23 Expansion Project

This week's update from the DOT

Monday – Friday, May 17 to May 21 – The contractor will begin paving the temporary westbound widening from CTH UU to STH 151.  Crews will also continue work on the new connection between Irene Drive and Whispering Springs Drive, a new road between County UU and Whispering Springs Drive, and a new road between County UU and Northway Drive.  Several utility crews will be onsite to relocate their lines for the ongoing construction work.

Traffic impacts:

  • CTH U (South) – Closed
  • 4/19 – EB & WB Outside Lane Closure USH 151 to Whispering Springs Blvd
  • 04/26 – WB shoulder closure Seven Hills to Whispering Springs

Scrip Year End Updates

SUMMER UPDATES – WE’RE TEMPORARILY MOVING!

The Scrip Office will be closed Monday, May 31st – Friday, June 4th.

 

We will reopen Monday, June 7th at our temporary NEW location.

 

To make accessibility to SMSA’s Scrip Office easier, we are temporarily relocating to the Holy Family Parish Office, 271 Fourth Street Way.

 

Date: Monday, June 7th – Thursday, September 2nd

Hours: Mondays 8:00 a.m. to Noon and Thursdays Noon to 4:00 p.m.

Back on the Ledge: Tuesday, September 7th

(Regular hours will resume: Monday and Wednesday 8:00 a.m. – noon.; Tuesday and Thursday Noon – 4:00 p.m.)


The end of the Scrip fiscal year is Monday, May 31, 2021. Thursday, May 27th, is the last day that purchases may be made to earn rebates for the 2021-2022 academic year. Rebates earned from June, 1, 2020 – May 27, 2021 will be applied per your designation on your Tuition Credit Agreement form. 

 

If you haven’t completed this form, please do so before Monday, May 31, 2021 so rebates are properly allocated. Click here for the form.

Scrip Office will be open Monday and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. – Noon, Tuesday and Thursday from Noon – 4:00 p.m.  The Scrip Office will be closed on Fridays.

Jeans and Spirit Wear Fundraiser - Monday, May 17th

Wear jeans and spirit wear on Monday, May 17th, to raise money for Fr. Fabian’s order, The Missionary Fraternity of Mary!  A suggested donation of $3 to $5 will support the order, dedicated to educating and ordaining young men to bring the good news and the sacraments to Catholics all over the world.

SWING FOR SPRINGS Presents: The Hyland Open - July 30th

In celebration of Bob Hyland’s 50th season as SMSA’s head football coach, Swing Fore Springs 2021 is excited to present: The Hyland Open! 

 

Mark your calendar and join the fun on Friday, July 30th. Gather your foursome and click here to register to golf at one of two premier Fond du Lac golf courses, Whispering Springs Golf Club and South Hills Golf & Country Club.

 

After golf, a social celebration will be held at Avenue 795 (F.K.A. the KC Hall), come and enjoy drinks, food and fundraising to celebrate SMSA and Coach Bob Hyland. Registration is required for dinner to ensure an accurate count, due to Covid restrictions. You do not have to attend golf to attend the dinner. Click here to register.

Mother's Day Rose Sale

Please accept a sincere thank you from the Fond du Lac Chapter WI Right to Life, to all the MS and HS students who purchased Mother’s Day roses. A record number of roses were sold at SMSA this year. Your generosity will help us to continue educating the community regarding pro-life issues and supporting pro-life organizations in Fond du Lac County.

SMSA Uniform Exchange - Looking for Volunteers

Have your students outgrown their school uniforms? Are you looking to exchange with fellow SMSA families? Here is an opportunity to help. We are looking for a team of people to organize the uniform exchange for the 2021-2022 school year! Get a team together and have some fun with this worthy project. This event will be held at Holy Family due to the road construction.

Bus Route Families

Families that will need bus transportation next fall will be required to complete the FDL School District bus transportation card. A bus card is required for every child in the family. If your children currently ride the school bus their bus card is on file with the FDL School District/Johnson Bus. If an additional student in the family will be riding the bus a transportation card must be filled out for the additional child. This is a requirement by the FDL School district.
