The Business and Scrip Office will be open normal hours.


Rosary - Chapel of St. Mary: Our Lady of the Ledge - February 11th

Join us as we pray the Rosary in our Chapel of St. Mary on Monday, February 11, 2019 from 2:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

 

Check in at the North or South Hall office for your chapel pass.


Freshman Scheduling Nights - Monday, February 11th and Wednesday, February 13th

Freshman scheduling nights for the 2019-2020 school year will be held on Monday, February 11, 2019 and Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at SMSA.

 

Students with last names ending in A-L should attend on February 11th and students with last names ending in M-Z should attend on February 13th.  All incoming freshman are required to attend. Your students will be receiving an information packet with a scheduling sheet, curriculum guide and agenda for the evening.

Elementary/Middle School Yearbook orders due - Thursday, February 14

Elementary and Middle School parents, yearbook orders are due February 14, 2019.

 

Please send them in to either office by then to reserve your yearbook for 2019.  If you lost your form, please contact the South Office for a new form.


Singing Telegrams - February 14th

A sweet surprise for your special someone!

 

St. Mary’s Springs Music Department is offering singing telegrams on Valentines Day (Feb 14th).  Students will show up at your special someone’s home, workplace, school, restaurant, you name it dressed in formal black and white, bearing a long stem rose singing in lovely harmony two love songs.

Save the Date - Ledgerfest 2019 "Calling all Heroes" - Saturday, March 9th

Ledgerfest – Calling All Heroes is Saturday, March 9, 2019! Mark your calendars and begin watching your mail, it’s time to assemble your squad to attend this fun filled evening of dinner, drinks, silent and live auction, dessert auction, mystery raffle, DJ and dancing! Come dressed as your favorite superhero!

National Honor Society Students offer Tutoring

Members of the SMSA National Honor Society are still offering tutoring to any SMSA student.  Tutoring is available on Mondays thru Fridays 7:00 a.m. – 7:45 a.m. in room 3037.

In addition, tutors will be paired with students who need assistance during their study halls.

Students should stop by room 3037 to sign up for a tutoring session during the day or after school. See Mr. Thompson in room 3037, call 920-322-8016 or email jthompson@smsacademy.org if you have any questions.

Parent Connectors Bowling Event

The first all System SMSA family bowling event was a huge success. Thank you to all who attended! We packed Ledgeview Lanes with 208 bowlers and tons of fun was had by all. Thank you to all the volunteers and especially the Parent Connectors for organizing this.


Private School Tuition Tax Deduction

Private school parents can benefit from Wisconsin’s K-12 tuition tax deduction by simply completing a one-page form with their 2018 state tax filing.

FDL County Health Department Hearing & Vision Screenings - Thursday, February 28th

On Thursday, February 28, 2019 the Fond du Lac County Health Department will be here to do hearing and vision screens for specific grades at SMSA. 

 

We are in need of parent volunteers to help the County nurses do the screens. They will begin at 8:00 a.m. with a short training and plan to be done before lunch.  If you are interested in volunteering for this event, please let me know or sign up by clicking here.

ABC Update

ABC February Meeting – Wednesday, February 13th

The Athletic Booster Club will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 6 p.m. in the SMSA Cafeteria.

 

Topics for discussion include ABC promotional materials, electronic clock system for track, football concessions, scholarship process, and nominees for officers and trustees for the coming year.

 

All are welcome to attend!
