The 6:00 pm Mass at Holy Family will not take place on Wednesday, September 24 due to the Cor Unum Awards. We appreciate your understanding.
Registration will close on Tuesday, September 9 for Sacramental Preparation programs, and Holy Family’s Public High School Faith Formation program. The programs to register for are as follows: First Reconciliation and First Communion Preparation for children entering grades 2-4 who attend Catholic school only; High School Faith Formation for public school students entering grades 9-10; and Confirmation Preparation for public and Catholic school students entering grades 11 and 12 who will be age 16 at time of Confirmation. All men of the Holy Family Catholic Community parish can start their Wednesday mornings off with the St. Ambrose Men’s Group and the That Man is You! Program beginning Wednesday, September 10! Starting at 5:30 am in Holy Family North Hall, enjoy breakfast and fellowship as you learn more about your faith from the That Man is You program. You’re invited for summer fun! Join St. Vincent de Paul and the St. Katharine Drexel Shelter for their second annual Family Fun Fair and Brat Fry from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 330 N. Peters Ave. Enjoy carnival style games, prizes, raffle, dunk tank, face painting and Brat Fry. Entry to the event is free with a goodwill donation of cleaning supplies. Tickets to play games start as low at $1 for 4 tickets. Games and events are geared for ages 12 and under. All those under 18 must be accompanied by someone 18 years or older.
In 2020, Holy Family Catholic Community started the Blessed Bites meal-to-go program to provide food to people in need. Thousands of meals later, Blessed Bites is celebrating its fifth anniversary! To mark this milestone, Holy Family is having an anniversary food drive! They will collect non-perishable food items at the Parish Office the week of September 15 and at all church sites, except Sacred Heart, the weekend of September 20-21. All donated items will support Blessed Bites and those who utilize it. If you are in need, come get a free to-go meal and other food and care items on Tuesdays at St. Mary Church. Meals are available from 4:00 to 4:30 pm or until they run out.
Mary Jo Neumann’s Balance & Mobility Class will return on September 12. The class will help people build their balance and mobility, which will help them feel safer when moving from place to place. The class will meet on Fridays from 9:00 to 9:40 am beginning September 12 at Holy Family Hall. The class is free for parishioners. Spots are limited. Call the Parish Office at (920) 921-0580 ext. 101 to register. Please note you must be able to walk without an assistive device like a cane, walker, or wheelchair to participate.
All women are invited to celebrate the beauty of their Catholic faith at the annual Women of Christ Conference on Saturday, November 15, at the Brookfield Conference Center, 325 S. Moorland Road, Brookfield. Under this year’s theme of “Anchored in Hope, you will take part in Adoration and Confession and hear from dynamic speakers. You will also have the opportunity to shop the Christmas market. Tickets are $47 through October 25 and available at womenofchrist.net. Please note that Holy Family will not offer a bus to the conference this year.
This fall, connect more deeply with your faith by participating in one of Holy Family’s Small Groups or Bible Studies! Learn about the Acts of the Apostles, the Sunday readings, Mysteries of the Rosary, as well as how we can choose Christ in our world, reach our loved ones who have fallen away from the Catholic Church, and strengthen our relationships in Christ! Groups are offered at various days and times throughout the week to accommodate a variety of schedules. Register at hffdl.org/sm.
Raise your voice in song for the Lord by joining one of Holy Family Catholic Communities parish choirs! They have several choirs for you to join including the Holy Family/Sacred Heart Choir, Our Risen Savior Choir, St. Peter Choir, and Children’s Choir (for children of reading age through eighth grade). Choirs rehearse once a week and lead the music at Mass on a regular basis. Children’s Choir will return on Thursday, September 11 and rehearse weekly from 4:00 to 4:45 pm at Holy Family Church. This September, Holy Family Catholic Community pastor, Very Rev. Ryan Pruess, will receive the Archdiocese of Milwaukee’s Vatican II Award for Leadership in the Priesthood. The recipient of the Vatican II Award for Leadership in the Priesthood is “a Roman Catholic priest who has shown exemplary pastoral care, service, faith, love, and leadership in his parishes and the Archdiocese (of Milwaukee),” according to the Archdiocese. In celebration of this special recognition, Holy Family is inviting parishioners to join a bus trip to the award ceremony on Thursday, September 25 at 7:00 pm at the Cathedral of Church of St. John the Evangelist in Milwaukee. The bus will leave around 5:00 pm and return after the awards. The bus is free to take, but seats are limited. Each person must fill out a form to reserve a seat.
