Time to don your lederhosen! Oktoberfest is nearly here!

Get ready to have a great time full of fall fun when you attend Holy Family Catholic Community’s Oktoberfest this Saturday at Holy Family Church and Prayer Garden, 271 Fourth Street Way! Join us at 4:00 pm to experience a special English/German Mass in Holy Family Church. Following Mass, around 5:00 pm, the party will start with live music from the well-known German folk group, Dorf Kapelle, the parish’s new Makers Market, basket raffles, and activities for adults and kids, including an inflatable obstacle course, giant Connect Four, child-safe “axe” throwing, and a petting zoo teeming with cute farm animals! Come hungry, as the menu will include brats, potato salad, nachos, homemade desserts, cotton candy, and soup, as well as beer and soda. Stay until 8:15 pm for a chance to take home a cash prize in our free general knowledge trivia game!

As you enjoy the festivities, you will have the chance to support the Holy Family Warming Shelter with a donation to the shelter’s sock drive! The parish is collecting donations of new, warm adult socks that are at least ankle-length or above. All donations can be dropped off at the Warming Shelter table or at the Holy Family Parish Office.

The event is free to attend, but food, raffle tickets, and drinks will be available for purchase.
