Holy Family “Faithful Citizenship” series underway

Throughout the month of October, Holy Family Catholic Community will offer a structure to parishioners to help guide their discernment as the November elections approach with its video series “Faithful Citizenship.”

Holy Family will post a video each Monday to the Holy Family Facebook page, website, and YouTube channel exploring one of the four principles of Catholic Social Teaching — Dignity of the Human Person, Subsidiarity, the Common Good, and Solidarity — and how this “moral framework” provides a firm foundation in fulfilling our civic duties.

On Thursdays at 6:30 p.m., the parish will host a Facebook Live in which a member of the Priest Team will answer viewers’ questions about that week’s principle. During the livestream, viewers will have the opportunity to send their questions and the priest will answer as many as they can. For those who do not have Facebook, Holy Family will post the Q&A to its website and YouTube channel the following day.

Blessed Bites accepting Donations

Every Monday, those in need can get a to-go meal at St. Mary Church from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. — or until the meals are gone — through Holy Family’s Blessed Bites program.
