Elementary Formation Coordinator Position

Holy Family Catholic Community of Fond du Lac, WI is currently seeking to fill the full time Elementary Formation Coordinator position. Qualified candidates should have great communication and relational skills, with a solid understanding and practice of the Catholic Faith.

That Man is You - Men’s Group - Multiple Dates

Men of all ages are invited to attend a Wednesday morning fellowship, including breakfast and the That Man is You program from 5:30 a.m. – 7:00 a.m. in the Holy Family Hall.

Faith in Action - Multiple Thursday Dates

Throughout the school year, join us in service projects with activities available for individuals from grade-school age on upward. (For younger individuals we ask that a parent accompany them).

 

The service projects will range from recycling plastic bags into woven sleeping mats, sewing pillow cases, tying fleece hats, making nursing home door hangers, making placemats, making cards for seriously ill children, etc.  A variety of skill level appropriate activities will be available each night.  A light meal will be served. Come after your school activities and hang out with friends doing good together or bring the family for food and service together.

All Life Matters: Promoting a Culture of Life - October 7th

Hear from Mary Ann Kuharski (Founding Member of PROLIFE Across America) and Marie Fleisner (Regional Coordinator for “Silent No More” Ministry) as they share their stories of loss and suffering, forgiveness and hope, and the healing power of God’s merciful love. 

 

The event will take place on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in the Holy Family Hall (271 Fourth Street Way). All are welcome.

Reconciliation and First Communion sign up deadline Thursday, October 10, 2019. No late registrations will be accepted to ensure proper formation.

Social Media Speaker - October 9th

Is Social Media hurting our kids?

 

Come learn more as TEDx speaker and Social Media activist, Collin Kartchner, shares his message that has saved the lives of hundreds of kids across the country.  His message empowers youth to make changes to their relationship with screens and Social Media.

 

Mark your calendar for Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Goodrich Little Theater in Fond du Lac.  This presentation is free and open to everyone, grade 6 and up.

Holiday Wonder Arts and Crafts Show - November 3rd

The Fond du Lac Rec. Dept. will be hosting a Holiday Arts and Crafts show on Saturday, November 2nd, 2019.  The event will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Volunteers Needed - Children's Museum Events - multiple dates

The Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac is looking for volunteers for two upcoming holiday events:

 

Spooktacular, Halloween event on Friday, October 25, 2019 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. 10 volunteers needed to run crafts and game stations, help out with the caramel apple bar and clean activity areas.

 

Christmas Around the World, event on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. 9 volunteers needed to help children make ornaments, decorate cookies, decorate, set up and clean activity areas.

4th Annual Rake-A-Difference - November 2nd

Girls Fall Basketball Clinic - Grades 1 - 8

Join coach Jeff Bell in a 4-week clinic that will focus on developing a love of basketball

through basic skill drills and game play to emphasize skills (Grades 1 – 4), as well as

enhancing skill development into finishing, shooting, and applying those skills to small

sided game play (Grades 5 – 8).

Fondy Dance Clinic & Parade - Grades 1 - 6

Join the FdL High School Dance team coach and members for this fun filled clinic which

will focus on teaching a variety of kicks, leaps and turns to incorporate into a dance routine.

Participants will improve coordination, gain flexibility and have the opportunity to walk with the HS Dance Team in the FDL HS Homecoming Parade.
