Help Blessed Bites Celebrate One Year

Holy Family Catholic Community’s meal-to-go program, Blessed Bites, is celebrating its first year of providing free meals and care items to those in need in our community. To help us celebrate, we are collecting donations to give out during our program on Tuesdays. Needed items include: Kleenex, toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, shampoo, conditioner, Chapstick, and laundry detergent. You can drop off donations at Holy Family Church and the Parish Office, 271 Fourth Street Way. Thank you for your continued support!


Registration Closes Soon for Called & Gifted Workshop – October 25th

Registration will close Monday, October 25th for Catherine of Sienna Institute’s Called & Gifted Workshop set for 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 30th at Holy Family Church. Through this workshop, you will learn to uncover your gifts and discern your charisms, which enable you to be a channel of God’s love, truth, beauty, mercy, healing, and provision for others. Registration fee is $40, which covers materials, continental breakfast, and lunch. No one will be denied due to financial circumstances. A limited number of Holy Family parishioners can use the scholarship coupon code HFFDL$10 to receive registration discount. Pre-registration required. Grief Share: Surviving the Holidays – November 4th

Are you or someone you know grieving? To help you through the holidays, Holy Family will host Grief Share’s Surviving the Holidays seminar from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 4th in the Holy Family Board Room. Holy Family to Host Screening of Roe V. Wade Next Week

Holy Family Catholic Community will host a screening and discussion of the 2020 film “Roe V. Wade” from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 29th in Holy Family Church Hall. The movie offers a dramatized look at the events that led to the court ruling in the early 1970s. Fr. Justin Weber will lead a discussion following the film.  Please click here to view the flyer.


Visit Saint Agnes’ Inspirational Lending Library

Come to the Saint Agnes’ Inspiration Lending Library at the Holy Family Parish Office, 271 Fourth Street Way and check out the parish’s resources which include books, movies, CD’s, prayer cards, and more. The resources have been donated and are free to use. If a book or other resource is of interest, take it with you and use it to help your faith grow. Please keep the resource as long as it is useful and then return it to help another on their faith journey. Any donation not suitable for this limited space will be donated onward. Any monetary donations to purchase further resources will be appreciated and can be dropped off at the Parish Office. The library is available when the Church is open, as well as during the Parish Office’s open hours: 7:30 am to 4:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 am to noon Friday. 


Stations of the Cross at Our Risen Savior – Each Wednesday in November

Our Risen Savior Church, N6499 County Road Y, Eldorado, will hold Stations of the Cross for Souls in Purgatory each Wednesday in November. Stations will start at 7:30 p.m. with Adoration following until 8:30 pm.

Early Learning Programs at CMFDL - Now Accepting Enrollment

The Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac is currently accepting enrollments in fall and winter early learning programs for children up to age 5 (now through Christmas). Classes are 30-45 minutes in length and filled with fun and learning. 

 

On Tuesdays children (and their grown ups) can enjoy Mini Monets with teacher Mrs. Andrea Nuss and on Wednesdays children can enjoy Music, Museum and Me with teacher Ms. Kendalyn Ewing.

Holiday Wonder Arts and Crafts Expo - November 6th

Saturday November 6, 2021

9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

$2 admission (kids 10 & under free with paid adult).  Held at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds Recreation Center.  Booths with wonderfully handmade items such as unique fiber art, Holiday decorations, resin paintings and furniture, wood signs, jewelry, and SELFIES with SANTA!
