Learn how to help your family avoid the occult at Holy Family’s next Building the Domestic Church parent session on Wednesday, November 8 at Sacred Heart Church, 200 S. Peters Ave.! Running from 6:20 to 7:20 pm, Fr. Pedro along with a family from the parish will discuss the topic. Childcare will be available for children ages 3 and up in the Sacred Heart School Gym (volunteers won’t change diapers).
Parents are invited to join their child to learn about Pope St. Peter at Holy Family’s Faith Builders Club for Kids following the 10:00 am Mass at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, on Sunday, November 12! In about 15 minutes, children will learn more about their faith and make a fun craft to take home!
Are you or someone you know grieving? The holiday season can be difficult for those who have lost a loved one. To help you through this time, Holy Family will host Grief Share’s “Surviving the Holidays seminar” at 4:00 pm on November 15 at Holy Family. Women are invited to join their fellow parishioners on the Holy Family bus trip to the Women of Christ Conference on Saturday, November 18. The bus will board in the Holy Family Church parking lot, 271 Fourth Street Way, at 6:15 am, leave at 6:30, and travel down to the Brookfield Conference Center. The Women of Christ Conference provides women the opportunity to celebrate their Catholic faith with women from throughout the area. The bus trip will cost $25 per person (an additional $1.75 processing fee if paying online). Register at hffdl.org/women and pay online with credit card or send a check for $25 with “Women of Christ Bus Trip” in the memo line to Holy Family, Attn: Sabina Carter, 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac, WI 54937. You must register for the conference separately.
Holy Family will offer a free takeout Thanksgiving meal for people in the Fond du Lac community on Wednesday, November 22. Those who reserve a meal can pick it up from noon to 4:00 pm at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way. The meal will include sliced turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes, a bun, green beans, applesauce, and homemade dessert. Four hundred meals are available on a first-come, first-served basis and must be reserved by Wednesday, November 15 by calling (920) 921-0580. When reserving, please specify how many meals you need and if you will be picking up for anyone else. Need is not a requirement to reserve a meal. All are welcome.
If you would like to contribute to the meal, Holy Family is seeking donations of applesauce cups and canned green beans, as well as monetary contributions to offset the price of turkey, buns, and potatoes. Please bring all donations to the Parish Office at 271 Fourth Street Way.
Join Holy Family for its beautiful retelling of the story of Jesus’ birth with live animals, music from the parish’s choirs, and more in its Living Nativity at 4:00 pm on December 3 at Holy Family Church. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 8:00 am at hometowntickets.com/hf or the Parish Office for $12 each plus tax. Children age 3 and under are free, but still must reserve a seat. Seats are limited so get your tickets early!
The parish is seeking volunteers to help with setup, participate in the production, and assist with cleanup. It is especially in need of a family to be Mary, Joseph & Jesus (Holy Family asks for the baby playing Jesus to be 0-3 months old). As the Holy Family Warming Shelter prepares to open in less than two weeks, the parish is in need of your help to serve those without homes in our community. Holy Family is currently seeking volunteers, as well as items to help the shelter’s guests including women and men’s sweatshirts and sweatpants, long underwear, winter jackets, individual Kleenex packs, and men’s deodorant. All donations can be dropped off at the Holy Family Parish Office at 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac.

Join Holy Family’s Rites of Christian Initiation for Adults program, or RCIA. RCIA is a process through which non-baptized men and women enter the Catholic Church. Adults from other faith traditions and those baptized Catholic but not raised Catholic are also welcome. The program will begin this month.
