Grief Share: Surviving the Holidays – November 10th

Are you or someone you know grieving? The holiday season can be particularly difficult for those who have lost a loved one. To help you through this time, Holy Family will host Grief Share’s Surviving the Holidays seminar from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Holy Family. Eucharistic Divine Mercy Holy Hour – through November 11th

Holy Family Catholic Community will host a community Eucharistic Divine Mercy Holy Hour for the United States from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. each night through Sunday, November 11th in the Sacred Heart Adoration Chapel, 200 S. Peters Ave. All are invited to pray for the country as we face the pandemic and election, as well as bear our own crosses.


Third Annual Hunter and Gun Blessing – November 17th

Fr. Ryan Pruess and Fr. John LoCoco will bless hunters and their guns at the 3rd Annual Hunter and Gun Blessing on Thursday, November 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the St. Michael Catholic Church Hall, 8883 Forest View Road, Kewaskum. The blessing will take place following the service in the church, and all firearms will be checked prior to the blessing.


Thanksgiving Meal for Community – November 25th

Holy Family Catholic Community will offer a Thanksgiving meal for pickup or delivery to Fond du Lac area residents. The meal is not only for people who are in need, but everyone—including those who are homebound, have families or will be alone. Food will be distributed from 12 to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25th at Holy Family Church. Delivery will also be available, beginning at noon that day. People must reserve their meals by Monday, November 16th by calling the Parish Office at (920) 921-0580. To help in this effort, the parish is looking for volunteers to assist in various roles. Monetary donations are also being accepted. For more information, call the Parish Office.


Get free to-go meal at Blessed Bites – Each Monday

Each Monday, you can continue to receive a free to-go meal with Holy Family’s Blessed Bites program at St. Mary Church, 59 E. Merrill Ave., from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. — or until meals run out. As part of the program, those in need also receive canned goods and cleaning/hygiene products. Please click here (hffdl.org/blessed) for more information. 


Join Holy Family Priests for video series – On Wednesdays

Tune into Holy Family Catholic Community’s Facebook page, website, and YouTube Channel each week to check out its new video series with Holy Family priests. On Wednesdays, learn more about saints of the Catholic Church with Fr. John LoCoco, and on Fridays, prepare for Sunday Mass with Fr. Edward Sanchez as he delves into the Gospel.


Donate to Missionary Fraternity of Mary

Holy Family and the Archdiocese of Milwaukee are collecting donations to benefit the Missionary Fraternity of Mary — the order of priests to which Fr. Fabián Rodas and former Holy Family Priest, Fr. Max Tzul, belong. The order educates and ordains priests in Central America, who minister throughout the world. To donate to the Missionary Fraternity of Mary, write a check to Holy Family Catholic Community and mark the memo “MCP” Donations can be placed in the collection basket, mailed to 271 Fourth Street Way, or dropped off at the Parish Office.

Children’s Grief Awareness Month at the Children’s Museum – Multiple dates in November

Children’s Grief Awareness Month provides an opportunity for our community to recognize the painful impact that the death of a loved one can have in the life of a child.
