This Sunday, kids can learn about the Holy Spirit when they enjoy a short lesson and make a cute craft with Holy Family’s Faith Builders Club for Kids. Faith Builders meets for 15 minutes following the 10:00 am Mass at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way. Parents are invited to join their children and enjoy refreshments in the Fireside Room.
This weekend, take a self-guided tour through an exhibition of 158 Eucharistic Miracles when the “Vatican International Exhibition: The Eucharistic Miracles of the World” comes to Holy Family Hall, 271 Fourth Street Way. The exhibit features miracles collected from 22 countries, prayerfully gathered by Blessed Carlos Acutis before his death in October 2006. The exhibit will be open from 7:30 am to noon and 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 10; 8:30 am to 4:00 pm and 5:00 to 6:30 pm on Saturday, May 11; and 9:00 am to 2:30 pm on Sunday, May 12.

Holy Family is accepting nominations for one of its Parish Trustee positions. Trustees serve the parish as advisors, overseers, and councilors, entrusted with assisting the pastor in caring for the corporate well-being of the parish. The parish has two trustees that serve the parish and are elected to two-year terms. Any registered member of Holy Family who is a practicing Catholic and over the age of 25 is eligible to be a nominee for parish trustee.
Nominees must submit a written nomination form, signed by at least 10 parish members, to the Holy Family Parish Office, 271 Fourth Street Way, no later than noon on Friday, May 31 to be included in the trustee election. Children entering preschool through sixth grade this fall can go on a castle adventure this August when Vacation Bible School returns to Holy Family Catholic Community! From August 5-9 at Sacred Heart School, 678 Western Ave., children will journey to a land of castles, knights, and princesses as they learn about standing strong in God by finding strength in God’s love, family and friends, prayer, and the Bible.

Holy Family Catholic Community is now hiring for a Social Media and Communications Assistant. The Social Media and Communications Assistant will assist the Director of Communications and Marketing in creating and implementing the parish’s social media strategy, with a focus on further cultivating the parish’s presence on Instagram, Facebook, and other social media channels. The person in this role will interview parishioners for videos and photo stories in accordance with Archdiocese of Milwaukee guidelines, and on a rotational basis assist with livestreaming, photography, and videography at parish Masses and events. In addition, the Social Media and Marketing Assistant will prepare and mail letters, and make weekly deliveries of bulletins and liturgical materials to our church sites. The person in this role must have at least a high school degree or the equivalent, as well as demonstrate a strong understanding of the use of social media platforms, videography/photography, computer skills, and media/publication strategies. Middle and high school students are invited to join the Holy Family Youth Group to celebrate and crown our Lady as Queen of Heaven and Earth at its May Crowning at Sacred Heart at 6:45 pm on Wednesday, May 15. After the crowning, teens will enjoy custard!

Seven days a week, you have an opportunity to adore and pray in the Real Presence of Our Lord in the Holy Eucharist at Holy Family’s Sacred Heart Adoration Chapel, 200 S. Peters Ave. Open from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm Sunday through Saturday, the Adoration Chapel welcomes all to come pray before the Blessed Sacrament. If you are interested in devoting time weekly to Adoration, visit fonddulac.weadorehim.com to sign up.
You can also take part in Adoration from 6:30 to 7:30 pm Wednesdays at Our Risen Savior; 7:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday at Sacred Heart; and in Spanish from 7:00 to 8:00 pm on Fridays at St. Mary.

From August 5-9 at Sacred Heart School, children will journey to a land of castles and knights and princesses as they learn about standing strong in God by finding strength in God’s love, family and friends, prayer, and the Bible. The program will run from 9:00 am to noon Monday through Thursday, and 9:00 am to 12:30 pm on Friday, as children will perform a special show for their friends and families.
Registration is $30 per child and includes a t-shirt and CD. Financial aid is available for those in need of it. To register, please visit hffdl.org/cf.

Summer EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer) is an income-based program that helps families buy food for their children while school is out. Wisconsin will send $120 for each child who qualifies. You can use these benefits anywhere that FoodShare benefits are accepted, like most grocery stores, many convenience stores, and some farmer’s markets. Please review the flyer for more information.
