Among Us Catholic Youth Group - Thursdays

Youth grades 6-12 are invited to join the Holy Family Catholic Community Among Us Youth Group for games, small groups, candlelight prayer, and food. The group meets on 2nd, 3rd, 4th, (5th) Thursdays of the month throughout the year from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart School, 678 Western Ave.


 

Donate granola bars, raisins, and fruit snacks to Brown Bag Lunch Program - May 14th - 15th

This summer, Holy Family will help to feed 400 children and families on Tuesdays with the Brown Bag Lunch Program! If you’d like to help the parish in this effort, this weekend, May 14/15, we are collecting donations of granola bars, boxed raisins, and fruit snacks.

 

Please place your donations in the boxes at the back of church sites, or bring them to the Holy Family Parish Office. If you have any questions, please call Erin or Gabby at (920) 921-0580.


 

Registration for Vacation Bible School open, volunteer for service hours

Register now for Holy Family’s Vacation Bible School! All children going into grades pre-K through sixth grade this fall are invited to participate in this year’s Vacation Bible School: SonTreasure Island. From August 1-5, children will discover God’s love while learning through Bible stories, playing games, making crafts, and singing!

 

Children entering grades 7-12 are invited to volunteer. Those with children participating in the program can sign up when registering. All others can contact Trisha Zimmerman at (920) 921-0580 ext. 503.

Training for new altar servers - May 21st

Holy Family will offer training for new altar servers on Saturday, May 21. This is for boys and girls in 4th grade or older who are interested in serving at the Mass their family attends on weekends at any of the parish’s church sites. Current altar servers who would like a refresher are also welcome to attend.

 

Greg Brunette will meet you in the vesting sacristy at Holy Family Church at 3:40 pm. You will attend and observe at the 4:00 pm Mass and then have an hour of training after the end of Mass.


 

Volunteer for Adopt-a-Highway - June 10th

Holy Family will participate in Adopt-a-Highway on Friday, June 10 from 9:00 to 11:00 am. Volunteers will meet in the Parish Office lobby and are asked to wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Please note that children under the age of 14 should be accompanied by an adult. Young volunteers must be at least 10 years old.

Teens invited to attend Steubenville Conference - July 15th - 17th

Holy Family Catholic Community invites high school students to join its trip to the Steubenville Rochester Conference from July 15-17, 2022. According to the conference’s website, it “is a weekend conference that evangelizes, equips and empowers 8th-12th grade youth to become radical, joyful disciples. Enjoy keynote speakers, praise and worship, Eucharistic Adoration, Reconciliation, and much more.”

Life Teen camp July 31st - August 7th

Holy Family Catholic Community invites high schoolers to join them for the “best camp ever” Life Teen Camp Covecrest July 31-August 7. Nestled into the mountains of Northern Georgia, Covecrest provides a scenic place to experience life and encounter Christ. Besides ample activities at camp like a ropes course, human foosball, and wiffle ball stadium, teens have the opportunity to go whitewater rafting! Teens will also hear powerful talks from relatable, funny, and challenging hosts. Life Teen believes deeply in the power and grace of the Sacraments, and provides opportunities to experience God through the Sacraments, including many moments for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and daily Mass.

Summer Enrichment

Want to spend your mornings with engaging activities? There are still a few openings available in select classes for the Fond du Lac School Distict Summer School program. Classes run from June 13 to July 1 from 8:00 to 11:30 (some classes run one hour, two hours or 3 hours). Shuttle bus is available to the two elementary program sights of Waters & Parkside.

Aurora Free Injury Evaluation

If pain has moved you from participant to spectator, call Aurora Sports Health to schedule a free injury evaluation. Performed by a licensed athletic trainer, physical therapist or occupational therapist, the free screening includes a pain assessment and recommendations for treatment or physician referral, if needed.
